Smallville S1 - 8,5/10
Smallville S2 - 7/10

Maverick (1994) - 8/10

IT (1990) - 3/10
IT (2017) - 5/10

I can't believe you were defending Hellraiser after this.

___

I defend Hellraiser because it's a decent character driven film with good actors and pretty body horror.
IT was bad in pretty much every aspect. Doesn't mean I don't like... it. :wink1:

But, the acting style was literally the same as in Hellraiser, and IT is 10x more character driven.

I would put both IT and Hellraiser on the same tier.

The Ghoul (2017)

Imagine if Lost Highway was British, and easier to follow.
Unfortunately, the catch is that it is rather dull (the synopsis is quite misleading), and doesn't have an amazing soundtrack.

As far as creepy mind-bending mysteries go, I'd say 5/10.

It (2017) - 9/10

Just saw it & really enjoyed it; however, I've never read the book so my previous experience is solely based on the mini-series that my family had when I was a kiddo.

The Magnificent 7 (2016)
8/10
I really like it but they Hollywood kept bleeding through , taking me out of the pure western feel...

D'nofrio stole the show along with Hawk. Should have given their stories more time for less on Washington and Pratt.

Pulp Fiction: 9.5/10

I should know better than to put this on, because once I do, I can't turn it off. One of the top two films of the 90s, right after the Big Lebowski.

Twilight Zone: The Movie (fourth segment) - 7/10

It's corny but I like it and it's become sort of a Halloween "classic" that I watch every year.

The Neverending Story - 9,5/10

Every time I watch this film I cry a river, man!
The European aesthetics, the 80's music, Alan Oppenheimer voicin' three awesome puppet characters...
It's a film about one boy who reads the book that knows he reads it. And it's done so well!
The buildup to this scene was awesome and the dialog is just amazing:

The film's flawed and dated but I just can't help it.
And yes, I know it's only half of the book and blah blah blah...
The ending could be better but other than that it's a great piece of cinema.

Honestly surprised it hasn't been remade yet.
