Polar lights produces their models so that lights can be fitted if desired. I guess you could build them with space inside and sell the kits separately to give people both options.

Lights would be cool for the few times I'd use them, but I'm not interested in sounds at all.

Not doing the QMx (I keep telling myself) but if i were, I'd want lights and sounds. What's a red or yellow alert without the distinctive siren?

And if I remember correctly, the QMx rep at their SDCC booth said the chair would have an AC adapter. I believe it might already had one fitted to the chair. I need to check my pics.

I don't care much for the gimmicks like light and sound myself. Particularly if they drive up the price.

I voted for lights and sound. A Red Alert would be awesome. I just received my 1:9 mego scale Captain's Chair from:

It looks great, so until a 1:6 scale chair, perferably with lights and sound comes out, this one will have to do. It also swivels. I will be adding this to my Bridge by DIDA DISPLAY.
