The thing with these lists is that there's never really an end, especially with mega licenses like Star Wars, Marvel and DC. Most of the character that were on my list five or six years ago have gotten produced or announced, so the ball has moved further downfield. The good news is that companies like EXO-6, Asmus and ThreeZero have stepped in and taken on licenses like Star Trek, LotR and GoT and unlicensed companies like Toys Era and SooSoo are producing characters that would otherwise never get made.

That said, since I think many of the more popular characters I would typically list will probably show up in the next few years in some way, shape or form, I'll instead focus on the longer shots:
