:lol .. seriously though, stay safe.

Like they avoided the ED-209 v1 rubber disintegration problem....

:(

Fair point.. lets hope HT have learnt a few lessons from the MK42 and ED-209 debacles.

Apologies if these photos were already posted here before. Saw this on Facebook just now, credits to Alex Chung and posted by Mark OSR.

Inaccurate color aside, I think the figure looks good.

Looks great. I wonder though if this is just a Mark II AU repaint. Did anyone hear otherwise? Me thinks this was a rush job to announce and have a display to get a PO. I have faith the full release will have the color corrected. Hopefully. Probably? :lol

I doubt it :) The proportion looks much better on this proto. Also, this one on display already has the articulated undies which has more give for leg articulation just like the previous diecast armors :)

That really is the color it should be anyway, there is no reasoning behind that darker maroon color as all the other marks have
the normal red color. Maybe a little darker red but I don't want it that dark maroon color that just looks boring and
doesn't stand out.

Ok just to clarify I don't want it a bright cherry red or anything I just don't want it that dark ugly red the old was.
They do need to tone it down some, but I still want to look red not purple.

Im lookin several times these pre production pictures, but why i feel nothing after i see this new version?

How can i say, this is lookin not a brand new toy, just a Hot toys bd mark iii ver2. Again this propotions (better but not good), narrow body, big hands, too long arms and Giraffe neck.

I think this is not photorealistic too, maybe im wrong, but the original ver 1 was closer to the movie cgi character like this cherry red monkey.

I think after several high end figures hot toys can make a much much better quality mark iii like this...

I think not hard skip this version.

yes, I suppose Maroon is the color, but it makes no sense.....its Hot Rod Red...... maybe the Hot Toys version is cherry Red and not Hot Rod :dunno
