Just got the Batmobile and the plate too

This car feels way lighter than the 1966. Kinda felt too “toyish” when I picked it up 🤷🏻‍♂️

But I did spend $1850 so I better shut up lol

Just found mine sitting in my front porch for the last seven hours while I got back in town.

Apparently, fedex says I signed for it, even though my ring camera shows it being dropped off without so much as a knock or a doorbell ring. Nevermind the fact that I was 300+ miles away at the time.

I hate fedex, but I’m glad it’s finally here. I’ll check it out in the morning.
Yeah. I don’t like them either. My 1966 they didn’t even bring inside the building. Luckily I was constantly tracking it and was able to notify someone at home to go down and get it but I was pissed because I’m sure they know the value of the shipment. Luckily for the 22 they brought it upstairs. My wife received it but even that… they said I signed for it lol

This is really one big box of awesome. The presentation during the unboxing is really something else. Once you open the shipper, the artwork just jumps out of the box.

Once you wrestle with all the friction between the shipper and the art box, and then between the styrofoam and the art box, there it is.

There’s a bag over it that opens on the back, so the first thing you see is that beautiful engine.

I don’t think any of the pictures I’ve seen really do this engine justice - it’s much beefier than I thought it was.

I’ve got to say, the engine and the interior are the highlights of this car. Don’t get me wrong - this is an absolutely phenomenal vehicle, it’s just that I find that the front and side profile really pale in comparison to the other details. That shouldn’t surprise anyone just because that’s the way it looks in the movie.

If i could have one enhancement, it would be a volume control for the sound effects. It’s awesome, but there’s no way to listen to it in private ;)

It gets WAY loud.

It doesn’t start off that way, but mine definitely builds to a crescendo where you can’t hear yourself talk over it.

It might also just be my older ears - I couldn’t hear myself telling the kids outside to get off my lawn

Again, it just may be mine. I guess we’ll see what others experience.

I had to redirect the packages for pickup since I won't be home at the stated delivery date/time.

But based on Joost's videos, yeah, it does sound like it can get pretty loud.

Just received mine, the clean version. Still has subtle light weathering that really enhances the realism. To anyone who may be having difficulty with the electronics fresh out of the box, check the battery in the remote. The emitter window should light up red when buttons are pushed. Mine was dead, only .8V on my multi-meter when it should have been 12V. Luckily I found the 12V “23A” battery at my local Home Depot for $6 and change for a pair, so now I have one spare back-up battery. Works like a champ now.

Yeah, good point about the remote you can’t just start pressing buttons like the other ones you have to turn it on first, with #1 and #2 turns it completely off, so don’t mess with number two until you want to turn the whole thing off and 7-10 have no function or customizable lol.

Just had to share these cool pictures I got from my customer Edward Cho. For a second there, I didn’t even realize this was our car! Very happy with the positive reception!

Man, I would love to learn how to take pictures like that. Hey, I’m happy having this masterpiece. I’ll eventually take a photography class or something to create shots like that fantastic work.

Congrats. Here are some cool pics from customers Brad Smith and Ivan Valdez
