Had the crazy idea to test this unknown sculpt against the only good image InArt has provided... and things start to line up...

Love that the vambraces are real mixed media from the looks and not just sculpted plastic. Boots also look really good. Was holding onto my Asmus V1 boots just in case but looks like I won’t need to. Still not 100% on the sculpt just yet but feeling a little better. Looking forward to the official pics.

Here's some footage!

Yeah pretty much what I feared based on the initial photos. Those light boxes are giving these figures some really weird flat looks to them. Mainly due to the fact that the boxes uses light strips running from top to bottom, 360 around, blowing out all the details and giving no contrast at all to the figures.

Looks way better there. Still slightly off but way better than those photos we've seen so far. One of the better Aragorn sculpts I've seen for sure.

The mouth area looks off (could easily be the lighting), a bit recessed maybe. Viggo’s got a difficult face to get right.

Can't say. Been told to keep it hush. Sorry.
That’d be so crazy if InArt don’t want people to know that the far more flattering image of the sculpt is their work. I’m just gonna have to assume I in fact have no idea of what the sculpt really looks like till Ia themselves put the promotional images out.

Justin’s had a play with Aragorn. Let’s ask him what’s what!

InArt may have a hard time selling those display cases now (as they have expressed an intent to do so) when it seems like the lighting in them destroys the likeness and details of everything it glares down upon.
