Does anybody out there with this in hand also have the SS Premium Format? How does the color of the shirt compare with the one on the statue. SS pretty much nailed the color, but I think HTs is too light. I'm going to make my own clean version and I might have to make some BD versions too so that everything is consistent

I don't have the PF but I'm not sure that it isn't merely a lighting thing in the movie. In the eye-surgery scene the vest looks lighter than the HT colour, at least to my eyes:

Yeah, bulk is the major thing holding this stock figure back IMO.

Pretty much. Out of the box the proportions call to mind the MMS02 T-800, from a time when Hot Toys gave everything a generic body.

All I did with mine was stuff cotton wool down the neck, untie the stitches on the lapels and it looks great. The collar mod isn't really necessary IMO. This figure is outstanding. My new favourite.

I agree the figure looks great and i'm definetly sold on it.

The Arnold body, all Hot Toys Arnold bodies, are like the biggest, heaviest 1/6 body on the market. Though he is taller the MoS Supes is still not as thick or heavy. The only thing that beats is the Roadblock body which is taller and thicker, like a wrestler would be. The head, while being incredible, is out of scale with the rest of the T-800 heads and the body itself. Fully clothed it looks great but without the shirt the size of the head really stands out.

lol, suddenly the Arnold body is considered not big enough.

The body is fine, the head is oversized.
I think it's more than that, because the clothing could be tailored to better highlight his bulk. But yeah, the head is a "huge" problem. Unfortunately, that can't be changed, so as far as mods go you either make the body bigger or have a wonky looking figure.

Got mine today....initially it felt very lacklustre and i had some niggles out the box mainly, the zipper not working, the lapel stitching popping off,the AR-18 mag not staying in place, the tassle on the zipper broke off, the boots seemed way to awkward.

After a few hours through these issues have dissapeared and now he's on display he looks great...not figure of the year great but great non the less. The battle damaged head looks great but i was always going to do the PF pose with this guy

here are some pics

Nice pics!
... and I'm pretty sure the movie jacket had a round metal zipper pull, so no loss if the leather comes off your zipper.

This. Can't shrink the heads, therefore body needs bulking up.

But there is still a 'body too small' problem regardless. We've basically gotten two bodies for Arnold from Hot Toys - MMS136 shape and DX10 shape. Size is roughly the same but the shape of the upper torso sculpt makes a huge difference to the 'apparent size'. And HT used the body that gives the smaller 'apparent size' when they should have used the MMS136 shape which would have given the larger 'apparent size' considering he was bigger in T1.

What this figure tells me is that HT probably doesn't distinguish a size difference between T1 and T2. They took the easy option of straight up using the DX10 body because it was more recent and had the double-jointed elbows. Alas increasing the head-size while not making any corresponding adjustments to the body gave us what we got. The chest might have been too small even if they hadn't increased the head size, but the fact that they did make the heads bigger exacerbated it further.
