Well it all a very subjective, really... I wouldn't rank HT that badly, I don't agree with you that neca and medicom do better jobs. The Sano statue is the best alien statue I've ever seen, and the CM predator can't be beat, IMO.

Well, it depends on which specific figure you look at...
AvP I'd say HT's figure is probably 70-80% accurate.
Aliens is laughable. I wouldn't even consider it a figure from the movie, but rather a complete invention based on the overall look of the aliens. Kinda like a comic book artist's drawing/interpretation, where they're not aiming for accuracy but for effect.
AvP-R is 70-80% as well I think.
Alien is pretty weak, maybe 50-60%.

I would disagree on the subjectiveness though. How accurate to the source something is isn't really subjective.
If you mean the useless percentages though, then yes, agree completely!

Anyway, I'm curious as to why you think HT's figures are more accurate than Medicom's and NECA's. Or did you mean overall figure?

It's the only way they could get that huge budget. It's not like AvP which had no real reason to be PG-13. It was a cheap ass movie.

Gore and blood is over-used these days anyway. I'd rather the film maker try and scare us other ways.

the new Sano Aliens are defn more movie accurate then the CM, just a shame their so small for the price, but seeing as the CM is backed and signed by Giger himself, that makes up for a lot of that imo.

The CM Alien doesn't look anything like Giger's Alien.

Agreed.
Gore is overrated and usually gets in the way of a good movie. Look at Alien, Aliens and Predator. All have very little gore and are much more effective thrillers than any recent gore-porn fest.

The gore/torture-porn films have had their fun. It's time that some effort was put back into film making.

I am damn excited for this. I believe Prometheus will feature the Space Jockey and some early form of the xenomorph.. Fassbender android is much needed and depending how cool the other characters are like Shaw, and Logan Marshall Green's Character, and Guy Pearce, but a Hot Toys Space Jockey would be epic

I think we will see the being that lives inside the space jockey suit for most of the film and not much of the actual external suit...right?
