I tried to watch some parts of IM 2008 again
I noticed that it seems HT left out some armor plating
and decreased some plate sizes to allow better articulation

Looks amazing but does anyone else notice the flames have a different shape to them compared to the proto pics?

It's very hard to tell from that angle. Also, I wouldn't think they would make any changes that quick.

Its actually not different to the original. Its the same. Its just different then the first prototype.

Who cares what the differences are. Either you have the original and don't care about the new sculpt (I have the original and keep the mask down anyway) or you missed out and will pick this up. It's not worth it for me personally to get this since I am happy with my original one. To each his own. I think the Mark I is a kick @ss design and any Iron Man fan should have it.

To me the worst part is how high the neck sits, they had it fine on the original, look just like the film, now it's so high
You forgot, "you have the original and aren't buying the new cashgrab" and the "another iron man, jeez, again?" hot toys customers.

On the above pic, it looks to me the height issue has not yet been addressed.....they both looks on the same height...

It's also hard to tell since the base for mk 1 is bigger then what the skull is standing on

Still deciding whether I want to pay extra just to get that exclusive holographic Mk.I 3-inch figure, or if I should just get the regular mass retail release..
It's a clear piece of plastic.
