How big is that statue? Looks fantastic...

Am I the only one who thinks that the material used in this teaser image for Batman's suit looks a lot different than the prototype's material? I think the material used in this image looks a lot more screen accurate in terms of detail. Maybe it's just me though..

The figure used in the promo photo was the same figure used at toy soul, according to Howard and JC

Strange, I'm just not seeing it as the same for some reason. Like those little creases on the knees of the suit in the promo image aren't on the actual figure from Toy Soul. And the legs look bulkier. If you look in the calf area, you can see that the boots are tight to the calves, as opposed to the calves of the Toy Soul protoype where there's separation between the boots and calves

From this pic, the boots looks tight to the calves.

Could someone please tell me why you guys like the HT cowl better?
I honestly dont get it.
I am getting the Hot Toys also...PO it as soon as I saw it was available.

But in all my years of collecting, Prime1's batman is as close to perfection as I have ever seen. Its on a whole another level.
Dont get me wrong...I LOVE the Hot Toys version. I absolutely cant wait and wish it would get an early release.
Cant wait to have it on my shelf. But still...its not even a fair comparison with Prime1.
The only comparison I see with Prime1 is Madam Tussaud's and Ben Affleck as Batman himself.

I mean...there's a lot of figures I see where people take pictures, and you can say...wow...it almost looks like the real deal. Emphasis on "Almost".
Prime1 doesnt look almost, it looks like the real thing.

So I really dont get it when people say Hot Toys looks better?

I don't think Affleck looks this slim and thin in the costume, Hot Toys does look more screen accurate to me but damn it is a beautiful statue.

That is the easiest custom job ever. The only challenge is the mouth since not everybody has a airspray thing.

very awesome. however, if I was going to go that far, I'd seal up all the joints and make it a statue.

you don't need an airbrush gun. I still paint headsculpts with my set of regular bristle brushes

The angle really makes a difference when looking at this figure. Looks like it needs tweaks all over. I'm sure the final product will be on another level.

When I saw the pics on sideshow I was like nah I'll pass. I pre-ordered Armored Batman without hesitation. Once they released the toy show pics I started to change my mind and then when Sideshow offered the combo of Batman AND Superman with all the extra goodies I jumped. Have all 3 on pre-order.

Where are the Suicide Squad figures???

I've been checking this thread a couple times a week to see what's come of the HT batman. I totally forgot I signed up in the past. I'm on pins and needles to see how they could possibly improve the prototype released. Im kicking my self that I only pre ordered batman and not both supes and batman together. Though my wallet thinks differently,I don't need to drop another 200 and change. Armored batman I think I'll wait and see the final outcome of it, then probably bite. What a time to be alive. All the merch I've already purchased thus far is scary.
