What exactly is a Raimi moment?
Hard to describe without example, but it's a particular movement and flow. The way Zombie Strange talked to Wanda, with head movement and voice inflection, reminded me of Campbell from Evil Dead. If you recall the Doc Ock awakening scene from Spider-Man 2, that's classic Raimi. The demons interacting with Zombie Strange, in its execution and movement, all Raimi in look and feel.

Usually something like this would be too scene specific for me to even entertain the idea of getting it but given how cool it was and its connection to Raimi, if they actually make it and it turns out well I'll definitely buy this.

Hot Toys wishes it ends up looking that good. The zombie arms will probably be all glossy and plastic looking and I'd be surprised if they even attempted to do that cape he had.
Yeah, put your "Mk85 battle damage" filter glasses and then look at that custom

“This time it’s gonna take more than killing me to kill me.”

Doctor Strange dreamwalks into his variant’s corpse from the post-incursion universe. When Dead Strange heads for Mount Wundagore for the final showdown, he’s set upon by the Souls of Damned, who scream at him for possessing a dead body. This desecrates the natural order of the universe, and the hellish sprits were sent to stop him.

Today, Hot Toys thrilled to present the highly-anticipated 1/6th scale Dead Strange collectible figure and his cape of demons inspired by the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Meticulously crafted based on the appearance of Benedict Cumberbatch as Dead Strange in the movie, the figure features a newly developed head sculpt and hair sculpture with disgustingly beautiful details; a decaying tunic outfit and sculpted boots, a distressed cape with sculpted heads of demons; the greatly detailed Souls of Damned accessories to drag on Strange, and a dynamic figure base.

I'm not sure if want this guy or main strange..... This is a little too scene specific than what I would go for but at the same time the main strange is relatively lazy with the spell accessories and the inaccurate length of the eye of agamotto. But I love his sculpt. I am torn ..

Have to give it to Hot Toys on this one. Didn't think they would go all out with the cape and skulls/hands. Really impressive looking.

I was going to get him anyway for the mere fact that it's Dr. Strange, but I am soooo happy with how HT has done it. He looks horrendous and I love it! What a unique piece he'll be in the collection.

Not a fan of the movie whatsoever but this is very impressive from HT. Congrats to everyone who’ll be picking this up.

Man, what a brilliant execution. I'm not a big enough Strange fan to pick him up but damn if that isn't impressive all around. Wow.

One thing I will note that is an error (and this the film's falut and not Hot Toys is how his beard completely disappeared. Noticed it clear as day in the film

Like...sideburns, chin, cheek, all of it save the stash lol. Tho promo art originally only showed defender strange with the mustache so maybe the full beard look came from reshoots

What in the fried green tomatoes is this, even. This movie mustve been a real hoot, from what I can tell.

Cool figure tho. Be interesting to see the price tag.....

This isn't Mace Windu.

Jokes aside, it looks phenomenal and will stand out on anyone's display.
