Honestly, if that had been full-on die cast it wouldn’t be such an over the top crazy price. This Lurtz at least is top of the line quality and isn’t being done by some enormous company!

Luckily I'm not a big LoTR fan so obviously not for me but diehard fans will love this.

Indeed, though I think the original group has split up. This set of artists is way more reliable apparently. The original guy who used to manage the projects is no longer part of them I believe as there were issues with the artists not getting paid even though customers had sent deposits and final payments. I believe there are quite a few open projects still over on the COS forum that were part of the old management that will probably never get finished like the Edge of Tomorrow 2.0 Rita.

Alex Filippov is still with them, has been from the beginning.

I don't know. He dropped off the radar for a bit. I was waiting for his Lando from Solo, but Kit had to eventually cancel the pre-orders due to lack of contact. Anything coming out of Russia is going to be iffy for a while yet.
 
If ya'll consider the amount of work that's going into this one, its 100% worth it if you can afford it. all handmade. When I originally saw this I was expecting at least double what Kits price is.
