Just came back. Definitely the weakest of the series so far. It was just OK without really being great. It's fine is as much as I'd say.

Well Rebecca Hall and the kid were on team Kong in the last movie so with their involvement it should have been obvious that the narrative would be a bit more Kong-centric. That said Godzilla still gets plenty of screen time, but it’s mostly a globetrotting tour of collateral damage/destruction as he preps & heads for the finale’s main event.

Wingard is very clear in interviews that he leans more on Kong for storytelling because he considers Kong more relatable for the audience because he emotes and communicates like humans compared to Godzilla.

I don't think any film with Wingard at the helm and both monsters featured will ever favor Godzilla for story and screen time, however, the way he uses Godzilla during his time was great in GvK and I imagine will be the same in GxK. With Godzilla being more of a hero in the MonsterVerse anyway, I'm ok with it, it's not like we'd get sequences of him destroying things just to do so.

My brain is now minus one.

Hands down worst modern Godzilla movie.

The end battle was SUPER anticlimactic, short, bland and a visual mess.

Worst use of his atomic breath ever he couldn’t even hit anything.

Mothra was useless.

The no gravity fight was super lame.

Shimo hands down worst modern Kaiju ever he even looked goofy.

Kong’s 1st battle with Scar King was decent but over quick.

Mini Kong very well done though.

Kong in general was very well done but not enough to save this movie.

The power glove introduction scene has to be one of the dumbest things I have ever seen in a modern Godzilla movie.

The humans and tribe gravity/mothra plot was nonsensical.

Holy crap that power glove intro scene just wow, Kong super injured one second next second he’s good to go

Movie was “Ok” until the no gravity BS started then it went downhill fast.

Let me repeat this…

Godzilla Minus One is a masterpiece.

This was retarded visual noise Kaiju action.

Oh Oh OH….the Monarch show had NOTHING to do with this movie

The Monarch show was better than this garbage.
