Would love to know the dates as well...spoke to the wife and she wants to make it a family extended vacation (I literally just came for the show by myself)...so she wants to come next year for sure....so if we can get the dates before the end of the year...that would ROCK...

I BELIEVE THE DINNER WAS ON FRIDAY NIGHT....Denny mentioned drinking waaaay too much to hang out on Saturday...lol...

That's what I did last year; made a whole vacation out of it. We stayed in LA the whole time and just hung out Friday night with some Freaks and hit the show & dinner on Saturday. Aside from that we did our own thing for the other 4 days. It's a cool show and a rare chance to get together with boardies, but to take a cross-country flight it's more sensible to have a few days of other things planned as well

Looks like just one day. I always enjoyed the Sunday as well, so hopefully next year will be extended. Please let us know asap about the dates of 2015 if possible, I really don't want to miss out again.

Had a great time also and picked up some great figs. I talked shop with Figure Queen, Azteca, emarae, betometali, and Dan Chung. All in all, i had a great time!

Just got back from the west coast...talk about travel hell day...my flight was on time...even ahead of time....then they cancelled it....apparently the plane we had already boarded had a fuel leak....not mad about that though...what I was mad about was the 8 different things the attendant told us to do once they had cancelled our flight...one of which was to call the booking agent to get new flights....then they decided to get another plane from somewhere else...except they forgot to tell that to the people that had already rebooked their tickets to fly out of somewhere else....long story short...4 hours later.....we got on another plane and I just basically got home....GRRRRRRR....

This past weekend, I attended and exhibited at FAMCON.
Definitely had fun talking, meeting, showing face and all of the above with other collectors and also showcasing and introducing my work in creating environment diorama base for this hobby.

Glad to see the show got some attention on this site, it was definitely worth attending, our group had a great time setting up and displaying our diorama and chatting with folks that stopped by to look. We plan to be at the next show too.

Im in constant contact with Chris, the event organizer. At the moment there is no set date but he's working to get everything set up. Theres talk of different venue for this year's event, something with AC hopefully. Ill have him give an official update, and Ill try to update you guys when theres any news.
