customising an iron man head

this will be my first ever customization and need some help and ideas, i got a damaged iron man (mark iv version from the movie) face so ive removed the gold face plate area. whats the best way to replace it with a human head so it looks like he has the mask off but helmet on still. its a 1/4 scale statue if that helps. thanks, looking forward to everyones comments, cheers.
