Media can't remember arcade name

What was the name of the 80s/90s arcade game where a woman (I remember her being similar to Gauntlet's Valkyrie) rides on a dragon? There may have been a similar game with a guy with an ax?

Pretty sure they were somewhat 3D where you're watching from behind the dragon as it flies forward.

Anyone remember the title of these?

I thought Panzer Dragoon was first out on the Sega Saturn. But it was also the only game to come to mind.

Panzer Dragoon indeed. There's a spiritual successor for XBox One out called Crimson Dragon.

The game I'm remembering would be similar but older than Panzer Dragoon and would have been an arcade game, but maybe I'm having memory issues because I remember it having very good graphics which would be impossible for late 80s early 90s. Hmm. Maybe the guys at Chuck e cheeses back in the day were lacing the dough with LSD.
