The bit that interested me most was the exchange between Obi-Wan and Owen Lars. Finally we see them speak to eachother and in a way that forward references to how their relationship seems to be in ANH.

That was interesting to see!

Cautiously optimistic about this one. Got a better feeling from this trailer than I did from the first trailer. This one has restored my hope that this is indeed an Obi-Wan/Vader story first, not Reva/Inquisitors.

I always had a feeling they wouldn't translate to live action well. It is what it is...I'm not going to let it get in the way. I just hope that chick isn't the main antagonist over some of the other Inquisitors that we know already and have seen in this trailer. Disney doubling down on woke everything is starting to get hard to drown out.

They could translate fine to live action, it's just that they didn't try.

Indeed, I don't think it ruins anything from ANH and it's cool to see that Obi-Wan actually sought to train Luke at a young age, ANH almost makes it seem like after Obi-Wan dropped him off, Owen told him to stay away and their first contact was in ANH. It also adds to the "your Uncle wouldn't allow it" line.

Well they already conveniently retconned away her helmet and the leaks are suggesting her as a co-star so I'm not optimistic myself. Particularly after seeing what Lucasfilm is capable of on Disney + with Book of Boba Fett.

I see no reason this won't be the REVA show. Disney has shown nothing but contempt and scorn for all the legacy characters.

Another reason this will suck: that Kumail Nanjiani guy. I hate that guy. If you want to think I hate him cause I'm a disgusting racist that hates all brown people and not just cause he's a miserable, unfunny, untalented hack "comedian", well...have at it.

She probably is the main antagonist out of the inquisitors. You already know 2 of them make it out of the show alive. The last one seems to be a high end cannon fodder. That leaves her as the main besides Vader. I mean the grand inquisitor can be the big bad inquisitor but knowing he will live through this takes out some of the excitement for sure.
