I'm one of the patient in the shadows peoples :D -- I paid for 1 of each (Baltar and Six) and wanted them sent to DA to be painted -- I can look up the paypal details for both transactions if needed, just let me know here or via pm & I'll dig up the details.

Glad to see this moving again. I recently got 10 yards of 1/6 scaled flightsuit fabric and hopefully I will now have head sculpts to sew for.

Hey guys, just to let you know that the sculpt has been started, and already coming along quite well. I'll have some inprog pictures of it this weekend.
Yes i still have the payment informations organized in an excel document so no worries there.

Hey guys I've put in a couple hours on this thing this week.
I've done more work on the right side of the face than the left
there's not much of a likeness yet but i'm trying to get the major features down

Yeah, hopefully there is progress. I know how life can take time away from art, so I understand where he is coming from. I'm just excited to see the final work. It was looking great in the rough stages, he had the mouth perfect. :rock

Bump

DA, do you want to drop him a line on this? I think 13 months is more than ample time for this project.

Hey guys,

so sorry for not keeping everyone updated and basically disappearing off the face of the.. sideshowcollector's world.

I have been busy moving around this summer including some other personal things came up, and I kept putting off the task of uploading the photos of the finished Baltar sculpt. I had this actually done back in spring, but things kept coming up and I got distracted. Once again, I apologize for my tardiness.

This sculpt was hands down the hardest one I have sculpted. The hair was not the real difficult part, it was the likeness of James Callis that was difficult to establish. I probably spent 30+ on this guy and yet it was quite a learning experience. I went back and redid the eyes and nose (the sculpt dried. I carved out the features and applied sculpty on it again and totally redid them)

there are more pictures if you click the link to the gallery.

twice again, I am sorry for the delay. I'm utterly ashamed that I had dragged along for a YEAR on this.

Ok, talked to Sunohc... we are hammering out the details for everything. I will probably be doing the distribution, to help him out. It will help keep any heads from getting lost in transit from Hawaii to their destinations.

Everyone who paid is good to go and will get their stuff ASAP, and anyone who hasn't paid should PM me and I will give you the details to do so.

It's finally happening... Baltar heads will soon be in out grubby little hands. :rock
