Got hold of a beautiful piece, to a great price. Originally just a loan, I just couldn't let him go.
Limited by today's standards, he still catches eyes: Masterpiece Delta Magnus!

Newage goes that strong with their comic versions, that they even try to emulate the blue reflections, from the comics, on their figures.
Not only by painting silver in a blue-ish hue, but they even painted their Cyclops with an effect pearl that changes color to said blue in certain angles.

How do ya'll feel about the 40th anniversary Missing Link Optimus Prime? It's the G1 optimus prime with modern articulations into the G1 toy.
It's C-01 and C-02 are optimus prime with a trailer and without:

I'm sure I would have preferred it slightly as a kid, but it doesn't do anything for me now. Kind of an interesting idea I guess.

I think it’s a great idea for a 40th anniversary figure. Definitely keeping an eye on the price at Amazon Japan. The version with trailer has the toy deco while the version without has the less interesting anime deco.
Pre-ordered! I think it's great.

It's the same figure but with more joints and modern articulations, kind of like the ultimate G1 poseable transformer with the gap on the back still. Think vintage with possible Masterpiece movements. I'm looking forward to the box but you can also use the stickers for your original G1 if need be.
Cool but price is too high. I will have to stick to my japanese new years special. I mean vintage prime looks odd with all those poses.
It’s a cool idea and a way to keep my original still pristine while having this new for display purposes.

In my own news I had a new arrival yesterday....Fans Hobby Destroyer.
Was amazed by the size of the box, WAY bigger than I anticipated lol
Looking forward to getting him out the box at the weekend & can't wait for the UK/US toy Deco version to arrive
Now the long wait until Hydra ships lol

Couldn't miss out on the one I had as a kid...while the Buster colours are nice my memories of the toy are the UK/US version so that's the important one to me but I'm more than happy to have both in the collection

New review, out of the ordinary again: Magic Square Toys G1 Munitioner:
Swindle is one of my favorite stand-alone Transformers from combiners. Always glad to see another figure of him.
Finally have MP45
Overall, love this little guy and can’t see myself spending more on a different version even if it may clean up a bit better. Only real problem I have is a paint chip on the nose of the main face so I’m using the smiling one right now until I get around to fixing it. Also planning on getting some toyhax stickers so I can cover up the clear plastic windows. I prefer the dark blueish color when it comes to window tint/color on these TFs
