Looks awesome! Asking price is just too expensive. Having my SDCC Exclusive Wolverine alongside Hot Toys and even third parties, Mondo really should have this around $150.

Looking at market prices, with Mezco's 6-inch stuff being $100+, Wolverine at $155, and Sideshow's 12-inch stuff at $260+, Mondo's price at $225 seems to split the difference in a reasonable manner.

The cost of the body molds on these figures, plus Mondo's notoriously low production runs are a recipe for an expensive figure.

Another symptom of the fact that prices are inflated across the entire hobby nowadays :(

As soon as one company starts charging £200+ for a 1/6 scale figure, others follow suit and it then becomes the norm. Then all it takes is for another company to shift to £300+, and the cycle begins again.

This is a great looking figure but, in reality, this figure and others like it should be no more than £75 IMO.

The production cost for a 12-inch figure in 2013 was $46, or roughly £40. So, the idea that something should retail for $86/£75 these days is not based in reality.

If you want to check production costs and pricing for yourself, go to AliBaba and start asking suppliers.

If he comes with exclusive pieces available only in the 48 hour window I'll bite. He looks fantastic.

I'd wager that yes, this includes exclusive pieces, we just don't know what yet.

Based on Mondo calling this both "Mondo Exclusive Edition" and "Timed Edition", the implication is that there will be a non-exclusive, non-timed edition. This version includes 5 headsculpts, so presumably one or more of them is exclusive to this version.

Having said that, it's my assumption that an open edition will be revealed after the Timed Edition closes on Thursday. For further bonus points, I'd guess either the Morph or 20XX heads are exclusive, maybe both.

Up on their website. Placed an order for one. Loving the unmasked sculpt and he'll look great with their Wolverine.

April 2023? Which means probably June. That’s a long time to keep full payment. Hopefully, Hot Toys doesn’t any ideas of requiring full payment upfront,

Regular Edition of Magneto is on mondoshop.com tomorrow. $215, includes helmeted and unhelmeted heads. The Morph and bearded heads end up being exclusive.

Exclusive Version of Jubilee is on mondoshop.com tomorrow as well.
