A General Chat about Hot Toys

Great display.
With the price of HT's these days affordability is something these figures are NOT. A way I limit my "Hot Toys" decisions on what to purchase is keep my "one" figure per shelf rule. I recently sold Sideshow Jedi Luke, Anakin, Mace and Qui Gonn to make room for future purchases. My list on what goes in my display is short: DX - T800, Returns Penguin, SS Vader, Returns Batman and Rocky (one day). If space get tight I will run out and buy another display case.

i'm currently trying to figure out how to display my new collection of 1/6s, so it appears this is the Detolfs from ikea????, if so what did you use to raise these shelves up? Right now I have a couch along a wall that I would like to display them along and if possible I could put these detolfs on a stand right behind the couch so as to still be able to open the doors while sitting on the couch.

I'm all about collecting Anime figures. I don't encounter those too often from Hot Toys. I lots of Medicom Anime figures. I just love the look of 3d representations of Anime characters.

After her suggestion, I can now have everything on display where as before I had to keep Arnie and Sly in their boxes in another room as they were too big.

How cool is this?? Delighted I am!!

Really liking how the Tron bike has it's own display now though I wonder where I am going to squeeze in the Avengers when they arrive.

Seriously, it might be interesting aswell to compare that with years past if possible.

It's easy to just take the release list and go by that. When was it ever different, when were we looking at a rainbow of diversity? Nova is a prime example of someone suffering from what's known as 'rose coloured glasses.' Or he's like a shark, but instead of having keep moving to live he has to keep whinging, no matter how illogical. 18 of the first 40 releases were Alien/Predator. 7 of the 40 were characters released previously. Blah, blah, blah...
