1/6 Batman: TAS figures coming from Mondo...

I think hell’s frozen over. I just received my shipping notification for the Mondo SDCC exclusive Joker! I thought he wasn’t due til like February!

Their website still lists arrival in February. I wouldn't be shocked to find out this was a glitch.

Same here. Will be awesome if it's legit but I'm sure this is an error. Just waiting for a Mondo to respond to this...

I’ve been ordering prints for years and, to this point, every one of their animated Marvel and DC figures and have never received a “false positive” such as this one, which is why I was wondering if there was something I wasn’t privy to that other people had experienced in the past.

My tracking says it'll be here Thursday. I'm in San Antonio which is about a good hour away from Austin. Just gotta wait a few days and see if it actually arrives.

If it is early, Mondo deserves a 'huzzah' for actually being early amongst all the delays this hobby suffers from.

Most Toy Companies doing pre-orders are padding release dates because of supply chain, but LOTS of stuff seems to have shaken loose in the last month or so - Hasbro especially is shipping tons of stuff months before their stated release date. Tough on the wallet but great to get more toys!

So, I got what I was expecting. A big plastic Joker. It’ll probably look just fine next to the other figures, but there’s a bunch of sloppy paint apps. None of the teeth paint lines line up with the sculpt…sometimes by a lot! There’s a weird paint defect on one of the heads I probably won’t use (and could fix myself but..y’know?). There’s some faint yellow staining around the neck and a subtle fingerprint…for that personal touch.
Like I said. It’s ok and will probably look fine, posed up on the lineup. But…well.
…butt.

Overall? I’m still very excited for Saturday, but damn. That slop is making me wonder if I prefer the quicker turn around or not…

Woah, that looks rough. Sorry to see this. The DC Direct figures of Joker were so amazing. Guess I'll be sticking with those.

Got home a little late but was eager to check the quality of my Joker figure. Took a few quick pics. Fortunately the figure I received didn't have any major issues. If anything, the line work on the teeth of a headsculpt or two are a tad bit sloppy but nothing majorly serious. Over all I really like this figure, pretty much what I was expecting. Looking forward to when I'll have time to pose him with Bats and Mr. Freeze.
