Here is my unboxing and review of the QS008 Mark 42 deluxe:

Wow man ! I have just discover your channel! Great videos about customs stuff.
I'm actually tempted to do something similar to my second mk45 1/6.

I trust your judgement: how really are the eyes of the head sculpt? I'll have mine this week to judge.

Thanks for the kind words. As for the eyes, I think the screenshot thumbnail for the YouTube video shows that it is absolutely fine. I like that they are not staring blankly into space.

Why should I justify an error because someone else has made an even bigger error?? Where is the login in that?
For THAT price eyes should have been ok (if not perfect...). I don't think we are asking too much.
It is not a deal breaker for me but I'm not happy for sure...
I'm not saying anyone should justify it I'm saying people are making a huge mountain out of a molehill. Just about every hot toys figure has a stupid wall eyed 1,000 yard stare and yet the majority of their buyers seem okay with it.

Also if you really want to get technical, not all humans have perfectly aligned eyes when looking sideways. I know we want it like that on our figures but it's not always quite like that in real life.

The solution is to simply include more PERS stye options with these figures, much like how returns batman and 1/4 scale bale have.

Yeah those splotches are rediculous, even has drips. But I think the gold underneath would also become damaged (I think I see it look more silvery in places on the right side of the chest. And you'd also remove the clear coat to get to the airbrush splotches

The scorch marks near the arc reactor in the before pic don't look bad at all. Is this a one off? Are they all the same or do they vary?

I don't understand the position of the airbrush blobs at all. They are so dark and symmetrical that it changes the look of the suit instead of being just being a bit of weathering. The prototype looked so good...

Can you tell that this annoys me? :lol

I don't blame you given the huge difference from the prototype. I'm not sure how it went from dripping weathered effect to big black airbrushed blobs. They should have omitted it all together if it was gonna look like that during production.

It annoys me too. The figure itself is still great. And I'm satisfied with the head sculpt. But the blobs in front of he chest are just ugly to look at.
