My figure has been in its box since new. Now I took some shots of it and noticed the skin color had changed A LOT darker, it's like he's Puerto Rican now, or something. Disappointed. Now it's harder to sell, too. How much do people pay for these nowadays?

I pre-ordered this faulty SSR2, I guess I had no choise. But, for what it's worth, I'm going to make a mold out of my Threepio's stand and make a copy of it. As easy as pie. And I'm going to rip out the lighting unit on the back... Going to replace it with a different kind of gel or something.

I wouldn't say that it solves anything. Only some tiny issues with those kind of people, who aren't too sharp... Like this SS R2: that lighting unit really SUCKS some major arse. That lighting unit at the back of R2's dome looks like CRAP to me. And the figure is made out of plastic compounds, obviously. I'll probably wait for another 1:6 R2-D2. This isn't a jackpot of ANYKIND.
