Born in Jan of '90. Didn't see '89 until later. My first Batman exposure was then 3yo me (this be 1993) walking in on my cousins watching Batman Returns and becoming instantly mesmerized. My folks had an old VHS tape that had '89 recorded on and I watched the crap out of it.

My first Batman movie too, I was 5 when I watched it for the first time.
I was born 11 years after the release tho...

I was born in 82 and first time I saw Batman was on a shelf at a supermarket late 89 we bought that vhs tape and that’s where it all began. I remember the movie hype all summer in NYC, it was crazy trying to go see it in theaters at release. My dad and I used to watch 66 Batman together before then. But 89 Batman was mine the thrill has been on since.

I was 13 when the movie hit theaters. My older brother took me to see it . We got the little pamphlet of Batman products as we entered the theater, action figures, clothing, coffee mug etc., which I poured over right until the movie started. Still have it somewhere.

My earliest memory of the film is the teaser posters, a portion of the bat symbol with a date, put up in the theaters. I remember wondering just what type of Batman movie it was going to be as I walked by them since I was only acquainted with the on screen character associated to the 1960’s show and Superfriends cartoon. By the time the promo shots, Taco Bell ads, tv previews and trading cards hit I was thoroughly enthralled.

Those Topps trading cards. Wow! I couldn’t wait to get a new pack as soon as I had the money for them. I had never seen a live action Batman character like it. Menacing, all black suit with the bright yellow oval and unique bat symbol on his chest.

I still remember sitting in the theater as the initial shot of the camera scrolling along the bat symbol began playing with Danny Elfman’s score playing in the background. The single most memorable movie experience of my life and the hype surrounding the film in those days was incredible. Once in a lifetime experience when it comes to a movie for me.

I completely forgot about that pamphlet - I was so excited for that first toybiz batman :)

Seeing that movie when it first came out at the theaters was an incredible experience. For sure, there have been other movies that I’ve enjoyed, but the 89 batman movie was such a major event at the time. It brought batman back as cool, rather than something that was just for “us nerds” (y)

Topps cards, I was the same....10 yr old me took ages for me to get the whole set. Then in 2006 I left them behind when I left England. A couple of years ago I broke down and managed to get the whole series 1 and 2 sets and I really enjoyed sitting there and putting them in binders...great days

I had the whole set and numerous multiples but left them at home when I moved out. Years later my younger brother gave me a trading card binder with all of them plus the Returns set all laid out in the pockets. I still have that binder.

Shannon Lanigan on Facebook has painted some fantastic Jokers.

She did a museum Joker for me a few months ago which looks incredible - nailed a bunch of little details with the makeup I was hoping for. I was planning on hopefully having her repaint one or two of the heads from this set too.

I have the Caine head painted by Dario Barbera and is really good head but the price is more than double than the Mars Toys one so I think that for the price Mars Toys did a perfect Job

I have the DX08 Joker, the DX14 Mime Joker, the MAT002, and I am waiting for the MAT014 to get delivered.

Those of you that are buying multiple versions of the MAT014, how are you planning to display or customize them?

That's my head! :lol Was just about to upload the pics.

Here is another I was given:

Wasn't expected it to be done this soon. Looks pretty great to my eye but any suggestions I could pass on before it's sent back to me.
I would do the same thing but I bought a custom head for him a few weeks ago so I wouldn't use this if I made it.
