Hmm... so without knowing the DX13 well, my initial feeling was, Present Toys looks better and has more details?
I only see uncle Bob on the right…
The left one might be uncle Joe or someone else…

Got mine this evening, having this figure in hand reminds me why it's so hard to gauge the quality of certain figures by online pics and forum rantings. Because in hand, it is really something. I was impressed with the work Present Toys has put into it. If you don't have a terminator in your collection and don't want to break the bank on a dx13 this is definitely the one.

The bait-n-switch on the headsculpt aside, this figure is an absolute win for me. I might get a DX headsculpt down the road but have no problem displaying this one as is. I'd probably get the different DX headsculpt because I'm honestly not disappointed in the quality of this one. Haven't even tried it with the other jacket yet. It was long day at work so it's nice to actually feel excited about this figure.

100% agree. I couldn't wait and had to open this before bed. I know it sounds tacky but this dang near brought a year to my eye. The NECA T2 figs were some of my first "grown up" collectibles as I realized this was a hobby that would stay through my formative years. To have this iteration of the Terminator, from what's basically my favorite film of all time, in what is my defining hobby...man I can't put a price on that.

And, just to stir the pot....I think this sculpt is better than the DX13 when you get it in hand. Not better than the Enterbay, but we're dealing with what we've got to work with now. It does not photograph well, at all. I really tried but in person, under normal lighting, it is undoubtedly T2 Arnie. Little stylized, but it's there.

Minor nitpicks include basic weapon paint apps and very cookie-cutter wear on the leather sleeve and knee, but that's workable.

I’m shocked to hear some people saying this Present Toys sculpt is better than the DX. A better body and clothes (not the T-shirt though) I could see, but the head sculpt too. Can’t say I agree with that one, but it’s your opinion and we all have them. Everyone should have a Terminator on the shelf and this is the best option at the moment 👍

We can all agree this battle damaged sculpt is better than PT’s first attempt at T2 with their non-battle damaged figure.

Good call. I was never the biggest fan of the DX13 sculpt.
Always thought the 117's sculpt captured "Arnie" way more (strictly speaking HT here, disregarding the EB. That one is THE SCULPT) and I like the PT's sculpt too, just for a complete picture I went with the semi-bd DX13 head.

Oh yeah, Present improved with the bd sculpt, but neither one of their sculpts are better than the DX10 and DX13. I’m not trying to put this figure down either, but sometimes I have to chime in on certain statements.

After what the DX13 goes now, the deterioration of pleather of many figures and this having real leather and brass, I can see PT makin' a mil on this!

I too absolutely love the 117 sculpt. He just looks menacing and ready to kick ass 👍
