The promo version had straight edges too, where this has rounded corners. It's just looks super weird now.
And they also made the sleeves far too short. For me personally, this figure is a huge disappointment.
I suppose I'll just have to pick up some spare pieces and make my own RE2R Claire. Really hope they haven't messed up the Classic version too somehow.

Just got Claire in today. Jacket isn't that bad in person. The headsculpt expression is too wide eyed and makes it look a bit "dead". It does look great on the shelf though and as with Leon, it comes with a great amount of accessories.

However for people who are questioning those flaking jackets, I just got it not more than 2 hours ago. After super careful handling, mine has already begun to flake and already peeled at 2 spots. This is NOT because of people being rough with the jacket, it is simply not durable material. This is a big issue and I already reached out to my retailer.

Either way I'm super surprised at the flaking, I didn't notice it until it was in the shelf. All I did was put the belt pouch and accessories on it and did some light poses.
