SooSoo Toys Green Goblin Comic Book version

I like it overall but I do think the head is a bit more brown than I was expecting. It's a tough call for me to get this because I have so much on order already.

Looks great. They did a good job of capturing the essence of the character. It inspired me to make a couple mock up color changes to my Defoe Goblin. Not sure they are any good and I know these are really bad “photoshopped” color additions but you get the general idea.

The coloring of the head sculpt doesn‘t look as good in that video review as the photo pics. Too olive green instead of the brighter green. Paint apps overall don’t look as nice either but it may look very different in hand.

I hope SooSoo makes a bunch of Spider-Man villains just like this. I'd be down for the entire Sinister Six.

Yes but how would they do it? Swappable parts like Venom, hmm that would be cool actually!

I would love love a comic accurate Hobby, one of my favs. The original run anyway.

Accessories look decent the figure a high end mego toy. Not a fan….

I thought Mego as well, mostly because of the plain cloth tunic with the scissor-cut pattern at the shoulders, though it is what they advertised. I did not read the comics, but from google images it looks like the tunic needs more tailoring and a thinner material that wrinkles and is not so stiff.

The figure and the vehicle need much more weathering. I always remember the Goblin in the comics as being surrounded by smoke and soot, so the dirtier he is, the better. At least that is what I will be doing once I get him

Not getting the Mego comparison since it looks fairly accurate to the source material. I guess they should've added some flair like SS does to their comic characters?

I thought they were going for Mego, which is why I like it. Trying to convince myself I dont need to order it.

That colour difference between the head/neck and the suit is just way too noticable.

The height doesn’t bother me, I’ll have this figure posed on the glider anyway.

Looked good in Justin’s video. And, yeah, his height is a non issue for me too since he’ll be on the glider. I didn’t think he appeared that small next to any of them though.

SooSooToys announced that he's officially sold out. Whatever is out there in the wild is all that's left.

Looks great to me. Excited to have this with Classic Spider-Man on display together.

Exactly what I'm planning! Mine should be delivered later today from Giantoy, but won't be able to get it for a few days.
