Hmmm d-amazing did post a cryptic Instagram story a couple of days ago saying something along the lines of "If you guys didn't love Storm Collectibles before, you will now". Guess this could be the reason.
Even though I agree that those GB flight suits dont look that great, that Boba Fett isn't a good example. They made a very small number (around 5 if I'm not mistaken) of that Boba Fett figure to convince the licensing people to let 3A do Star Wars.
The regular 3A stuff in that scale cost about...
Yeah, the mirage TMNT bootlegs are great. I have both the original and a bootleg set with painted bandanas and you can clearly see that they're not exactly the same quality, but are REALLY close.
It might be wishful thinking, but dunno, I do think these won't be that hard to get, or at least we'll be able to get an alternate (non-SDCC) version down the road. Didn't Randy say a few weeks ago there was no chance of releasing videogame turtles?
Nice, thank you so much for the shield - and thanks for the second pic as well, was dying to see a WIP or at least a digital mockup of the custom.
He looks pretty much perfect (though the right leg still bothers me). Wonder how hard it would be to give him Dekker's boots for his right leg.
Awesome pictures, Rayuri... love what you did to your Stormtrooper. What did you use for the maedate (sp?)? Did you make it yourself?
Also, what did you for the shoulder guard?
Re: 3A - 1/12 Judge Dredd Figures
I don't think they're covering with PS (well, maybe they are, the left ankle does look weird).
Seems like the boot is two pieces, the "calf" (don't know if that's the right word) and the feet - think SS's EP 1 Obi-wan.
