Isn't his Endor outfit pretty much the same as the Bespin outfit? The only difference I see is that he has his old vest from ANH instead of the jacket. And of course, he has his camouflage coat on top of everything. Maybe they could just do a deluxe Han Solo that encompasses ESB and ROTJ.

That's basically it, but there are subtle differences like the color of the shirt is more off white in ROTJ, and I'm sure someone could probably point out differences in pockets in the vest (although I couldn't).

But the real difference is how much HF changed from ESB to ROTJ. Sad to say (especially since he's my favorite actor) he looked pretty bloated in ROTJ, so I think that would deserve another sculpt.

I don't think he looks that bad. But I'm sure being frozen in carbonite can be rough on your skin. Maybe he got some freezer burn.

Different holster details and different DL-44’s as well..

Yeah, figured there were other little things too. Thanks for that.

:rotfl I think I remember some joke that part of the hybernation sickness was that it added 20 pounds to your weight!

No way they don’t take the opportunity to release a favorite hero in as many ways as makes $$. Hopefully they each get a different sculpt — look at how many of each popular Avenger there are.

I hope you're right. I wonder why it's taking them so long to release Bespin Han.

Has anyone tried replacing the vinyl boots on this figure with the boots from the old Sideshow Han Solo 1/6 figure? If so, is it an improvement?

Plus they don't want to saturate their own market. They just released a Han a few months ago; they're going to spread out different releases.

Do you know what the development + production time for a HT 1/6 figure is ? These aren't Funko Pops.

Yes, hence my comment about it taking a long time. How many head sculpts of Robert Downy Jr. have they produced in the past two years? It's almost impossible to keep track. Han Solo is one of the most popular Star Wars characters. Making Bespin Han is not too much to ask for, considering how long it's been since the ANH version.

I'm sure Bespin Han would sell better than the Stormtrooper version. They should have made that first.

Yes, but they know Bespin Han will sell better; so they make the Stormtrooper version to get people to bite who just want another Han. Plus the new headsculpt to entice people and the ease of using the Stormtrooper mold again.

Jnix really nailed that ANH Han sculpt! :clap

I'm content with the stock sculpt. The Jnix sculpt to me (at least in pictures) tends to look too glossy and a bit over sculpted so to speak, for lack of a better description.

I have always liked the stock sculpt well enough even though it falls short of some of HT best work. The jnix looks decent to great depending on who painted it. Some look better than the HT and some worse. Maybe HT can finally nail OT Ford with the Bespin look.
