Did anybody else order from ebay seller LOONTENTOYS because so far i havent gotten a shipping notice. Just wondering?

Yes I ordered with him earlier today. It's still a pre-order so you won't get a shipping notice yet. He should be in stock pretty soon now.

I'm still debating whether to go with him or not. I still just can't understand how his are considerably cheaper, I just keep thinking they must be knock offs even with the vouches for him across the board, but getting it for 202 pounds instead of 245 is so tempting! He hasn't got many left either.

Why would they be knock offs? He's selling them for $250, that's $30 more than Sideshow are asking for the figure. Getting them in bulk he's gonna be paying wholesale not retail prices and comfortably make a good profit on each one sold.

We are used to paying UK prices with VAT so to us his prices do appear very good. In reality he's still selling above the going retail rate in other markets.

It's just a niggling thought in my mind, and that customs will catch it. But I might bite the bullet and just do it, as it's 50 quid that could go towards another item that's saved!

Customs could catch it, no seller would give a 100% guarantee on this. But going by other's on this forum its highly likely to avoid those charges when he marks the value down. Some have ordered over a dozen figures from him and not paid a penny in customs charges. A figure I got from KG Hobby a few weeks ago was also marked down this way got through customs without any issues.

Obviously you have to budget for those charges just in case.

This sculpture is amazing and the painting technique is very good, better than the AA version. But for me the problem is that the form of makeup they have chosen is not very SA. The most annoying for me is the excess lipstick on the edges of the mouth (does not appear at any time in the film or promotional photos with that makeup)
Is there any way to wipe that excess from the edges of the mouth without wiping the base paint off the face? And without resorting to a complete repainting? Acetone would be very strong maybe?

Acetone will destroy your facepaint. Do this if you are an expert-level artist with the ability to make that paint look like new again. :wink1:

You might try a watercolor pencil or pastels, but I'd let him be. Or send him to an artist, this is an expensive figure to be futzing around with like that.

The photo here is like what at least 5 times bigger than the actual figure. when you see it in person those details are going to be so small your not going to be able to tell. I mean the figure is so realistic, i wouldnt mess with it. I took a few photos of the Arkham Leto figure and sent them to friends and family and some people thought it was a photograph of Leto off his instagram. LoL :lol

Just to add to what I said already. I sent him a message about shipping and he agreed to upgrade mine to EMS shipping for free. Should get it here quicker and increase the chances of it avoiding a customs charge. It's worth telling him to mark it as a gift and lower the value...though of course this is only relevant if you are UK based like me. He'll probably do it anyway but no harm in reminding him.

He thinks he might have stock in the next week but obviously thats an estimate not a guarantee.

:) So what's your verdict, as good as you expected?

Hoping to get this myself in the next few weeks.

Well I think it's even better than I expected. i mean he's really very nice, and you can do so many poses with him.

I know some folks are still waiting for this figure, so I did a quick review just to reignite the hype a little. I also posted a link to Dean Knight's review in the description, because his review also hits on some great points and shots. Enjoy.:clap

Here are some pics I took during the review as well.

Great review, always enjoy your videos. Can't wait to get hold of this figure myself, looks like one of Hot Toys best yet.

Agree with you on the use of white backgrounds to. Don't think it shows the figures in their best light.
