1/6 Hot Toys - Aliens ALIEN Warrior 2.0 (2016)

Received this yesterday. Without going into everything too deep I'll just say that it's an extremely disappointing piece. The sculpt is incredible however there is zero pose ability... Like freaking zero. Very disappointed.

Nice pics generalzod, hey has anybody that has this put it in a crawling pose yet? I really want to get one to pose underneath the top of the hutch on my desk but I need to know if it can pull off the pose.

probably not without risk of breaking something. I myself have not seen hardly any real dynamic poses. I love the way it looks though.

That is ridiculous, how the hell do you make an alien figure from the "Aliens" movie and not make it be able to crawl on walls That is gonna make this figure a super easy pass if it can't do the crawling pose

yup or even a good crouch I don't think is possible. I picked up the first iteration jungle hunter Predator solely because it has better flexibility than the 'Classic' one which has the better details and accessories. I missed the Big Chap and dog alien first time round but I refuse to pay crazy prices for them. This one I strongly considered since I lack a 1/6 alien but I will pass on the articulation aspect. Not knocking it or those who have it, I think it's an awesome looking piece, just not something I'd want displayed the way it can be.

Has anybody mod podged the rubber on the lower jaw and tendons yet? That looks like the only real problem with this figure. I'm pleased with the new vinyl-like material of the body as it seems like it is much more durable than the first release, granted it's sacrificing dynamic poseability but I'd rather have an Alien built to last not one that will bust or have rubber deterioration in a few months like the last ones did. I guess if you really want a poseable one there's always the NECA figure.

I was considering doing this, but not yet. In time I will my Mod Podge my Big Chap as well.

After a lot of searching and realizing this is my only option for a decent looking 1/6 alien warrior, I went ahead and ordered one. I'm determined to have him crawling on the underside of the hutch on my desk above my scar figure, I'll try and post pics and let everybody know if I have to **** it up to pull this off.

I don't miss any of my Hot Toys Aliens in the slightest. Used to have the Aliens Warrior, AvP:R Warrior and the Dog.
