Thor arrived today. My thoughts have already been stated by everyone else, I had the LA Thor and this is indeed a nice upgrade. I prefer the silver, and the arms are more tan and defined. I like the bit of added height as well.

Yeah, I agree. It's one of those figures that grows more and more on me the longer I have it. In every case the AoU figures I have are just overall better than my older Avenger/TDW/TWS era figures. I'm just too damn scared to do anything with his arms,

I carved up the AOU head to fit the Thor Helmet. It looks ghetto underneath the helmet though I also threw the TDW armored arms with the AOU suit as I like the colors of the costume slightly more than the TDW suit.

I can only see a faint glow in the disc at the top, nothing else lights up at all.

Do you guys feel this is the best Thor HT to pick up?

I have them all. I think pound for pound TDW Thor is the best. It comes with a poncho, you have two choices (light or heavy armor) on which one to buy, and it comes with a ridiculously good stand that you can pose him flying, jumping, putting the hammer down on someone, etc. with broken stone underneath on the base.

Most poseable Thor as well. Head sculpt is on par with A2 Thor. If I had to rank them...

It's meant to have an RRP of $23, so it's likely just for the figuarts stuff. I'd guess it won't even reach Thor's waist.

Yeah, I thought it looked like a Figuarts accessory.

It'd be cool if a company made stuff like this in 1/6 scale.

For anyone who likes doing dynamic poses, I think that would maybe work as a ground strike with the hammer behind it perhaps?

Just received Thor today from SSC. Im curious if anyone is having problems standing him up without the stand. Ive been trying for the past 30 minutes and he wont stand on his own. The ankles are very loose and when I try to stand him upright he just keeps on leaning forward.

Yeah, that's just because of the ankle design I guess. My LA Thor had the same issue.
