Great pics!
What the hell are those things with the big hands??? I'm going to have nightmares tonight...

On the customising front, i popped up to work and picked up some white 6mm BBs.
The good news is that they are a PERFECT replacement for the SS eyes. With a set of eye decals, it will be possible to replace the eyes and have yourself a PERS-like setup where you can reposition them yourself.
I just drew the iris on with a sharpie, but with good decals and maybe three coats of clear lacquer, this will look grand. I'm going to see if i can do it on the angry/laser face tomorrow.

brilliant Barry ,terrific idea with the bbs ,what do you need bbs for at work ,i thought you were a taxi controler lol ,on second thoughts i dont need to know lol ,
anyway cant wait to see your progress ,how much work do you think it would be to "eyeball" the heat vision head

I'd have to test dremel the head of the heat vision sculpt to see what work is needed.
The good news is my casting guy in Canada is going to cast me a stack of S-curls in black resin so i will never run out for customs. It would be a simple matter to add black Fimo to the hear to blend the curl in.

Also, when i said at work, the office next to my "proper" work office is my workshop for custom stuff. I have white BBs at work to make 1/6 eyeballs for my sculpture. They scale out perfectly to 1/6.

Thanks!!! The figures are from 3A--called Evenfall. They are infected zombie astronauts--crazy!

Those eyes look great!!! Would you use clear BB's for the light up feature?

Infected zombie astronauts... Crazy.

As for the eyes, clear BBs would probably be cool too. And if you put a couple of light coats of white paint on the front before putting the irises on, the light would still get through.

I don't know if anyone else has done this with the figure but I've attached velcro to keep the cape in place. 1365081.jpg

yea and it doesn't look like it will be made they have had this ad for 2012

This is how I wanted him out of the box. I know you said the mods are "easy" but for me I really would have loved to see people pull him out of the box and have it just look this phenomenal. So much potential missed but I am glad people are making this figure shine.

Hmh I see you added a 1/6th scale sock too, nice touch.

It looks fantastic though, I wish it came like that out of the box, what mods did you do?

:lol I don't know what's going on there. :lol

I sculpted a lot of muscle using epoxy putty like EF did. Increased the pecs, biceps, triceps, shoulders, abs and legs.

He's Superman, that's what's going on.

Damn, I can't sculpt realistic muscles (or realistic anything) for **** :lol well man, it came out fantastic :duff

Oh EF, yours also looks kick ass, well done.

I wish I could sculpt muscles like you guys, that way I would re-consider getting the fig, because clay is super cheap but I'd probably end up ruining the body.

I'm no sculptor. It's easy, just ball up the putty and apply in place. Look a body builder or a drawn superhero for some reference. It doesn't have to be perfect, just enough to show definition under the outfit.

exactly what evil said when lycra stretches over body it will give the appearance that the body came sculpted like that. there is alot of people at comic con using fake muscle under there outfit you will never know there fat under it.

Hey evil does the boots go far up the calf to not allow sculpting of that muscle. My TTM20 is a beast. "Bring it" lol I only hope the Lycra suit will go over all that muscle
