Awesome! I was just talking with a friend about how glad I am that people are switching around the color schemes; I like having each film in a separate color, but not always the same color for everything. I can't wait to see the others. Of course, I'm still waiting to frame this baby right now. :lol

I've ordered one and im sure it will be here tomorrow as I got a letter from customs!

Can't wait!!!!!

Just back from the framer's. Sorry for the really bad pic's. The top matte is actually a darker beige color with a touch of olive or mossy green in it that perfectly matches the middle earth map and really makes it "pop" out, though unfortunately you can't see from the pic's. The wall I put the litho on is olive green as well, though you'ld never know it.

Hi Woodsy.

That is an interesting way of matting the remarque, and the frame is super-nice! I will probably be looking for a frame just like that. Very nice.

that is one damn fine piece of art there Woodsy. can somebody give me an estimate on what framing would cost for something like this. im kinda clueless and dont live near any good framing shops. you can PM if you dont want to say it in the thread. i wont tell anybody. im thinking about waiting to get all 3 framed at the same time so i can get the exact same frames for each one.

Thanks Jerry. I really wanted to put alot of emphasis on this amazing remarque and by isolating it this way it really draws your attention to it. The frame is very dark and "rich" looking and the lighter looking areas on the frame are not nearly as pronounced in real person as they are in the photo's.

I just wish the real color of the top matte could be seen in the photo's as it perfectly matches the darker beige parts of the middle earth map, with just a hint of a mossy/olive green in it. It really "pulls" the map out of the litho and I will be using it, and the same frame for all three litho's. The dark blue bottom matte will be replaced with a green one for the Two Towers litho and red for the ROTK litho.

Thanks again Jerry for giving LOTR fans such a fantastic piece of artwork! I know an awful lot of us are so looking forward to seeing what you have in store for us next. :monkey5

Very nice Woodsy! I saw a similar frame like yours but decided to save it for one of the next 2 releases.

Thanks. Actually I've been really impressed with the framing I've seen from the Freaks so far. That suede blue top matte you went with really works nicely with this print!

Woodsy,

I've been meaning to ask you, how wide is that frame outer edge to outer edge ?Thanks,

JV

It would seem that a great many of us had the same idea. I also have some of the dark blue suede matting as well as the frame itself. I love the simple elegance of the lines combined with the near-burled look of the veneer with hints of gold.

Hi Guys!

I hope everyone is enjoying their lithos.
I have a question for anyone that lives in the UK : Has there been any import or customs fees on your end when you received your litho? I cannot control this really, but I have one customer that is from the UK that is asking about this. Any help in this would be great!

PS- I am getting ready to jump back on TTT. I look forward to diving into this one ! The reason I have not been on TTT lately, is because of these cards- just thought I'd share this with you guys!

Hey Jerry,

I live in the Netherlands and also bought your amazing litho. I had to pay import and customs fees once the postman delivered it to my doorstep. As the UK is part of the EU, I doubt if things are different there. But who knows, maybe only Dutch customs are greedy b@$t@rds. :monkey3
