They do bubble wrap the original box and then ship in a brown box. The brown box is almost the same size of the original box so don't worry about any damages to it.

Just picked mine up from the post office. It wasn't double boxed or double bubble wrapped. Only had one layer of small bubble wrap. Im shocked it didn't come in worse shape. One small ding on the corner and that's it. I can live with it. This figure is amazing. My first iron man and I'm glad I waited to get this one. It's going to be my top figure for a very long time!

Applied my Epoxy Putty. Waiting for it to cure a bit before adjusting it a bit more. It's really hard to tell how it will fully look with the grey on it right now since it doesn't provide a consistent look but so far the eye shape looks far better than the original. I was going after the eye size of the Mark 4/6 which I'm quite happy with.

Also diffused the eyes with sandpaper as suggested by fellow Freaks to create the even output of the light.

damn looking over them again close..BOTH of mine not only have the tabs from the normal faceplate missing, but also the left legs wont seat the munition pods properly. (they rock like teetertotters)

i think i lucked out and got two from the same bad batch

I'm thinking about applying the epoxy putty onto the bottom part of the faceplate as well to make the black mouth slit thinner.

But for now I'm focusing on the eyes. I'm quite happy with it but once it dries a bit and I have another look at it, I might tweak it a tiny bit more.

Messed around with it for a hour. Was quite frustrating getting it right. It was too narrow here or there and was a hassle overall. It's a mod that I can't live without doing so it's worth the trouble.

I was thinking about providing a service of modding it for those who do want to have their faceplate modded.

I'm just wondering for you guys who are doing the eye mod. What are you going to do with the black lines around the eyes?

I'm going to prime the mask black and then apply a mask tape where the eye black ring should be and then paint the gold over it, leaving a thin black line around the eyes.

Or I might just pick up a Gundam marker and apply the black line that way.

Masking it will be pretty hard i would imagine because the lines are so thin. I'd be interested to see the results.

That's why I'm considering using a hobby marker instead but I'll see how it turns out.

The great thing about ordering from Razor's Edge is that he's in NY and just using UPS ground I still get it in 1 day!
My MARK VII should be here by Tuesday night!

I've never ordered from Toys2. They have a few figures I've been looking for that I missed out on. Is everything they sell MISB? I saw the Milk War Machine for $350 which doesn't seem that high considering what I've seen elsewhere.

Might give it a go.

It will be my first time to order with Toys2, but i haven't heard major bad things about them yet so I gave it a try and they are based in Canada so i don't get raped by custom fees if buying from the US (shipping to Canada).

I got shipment confirmation and will get my IM tomorrow as expected delivery day, I'll post it up the conditions

I used to order from them all the time but there shipping cost to the states have sky rocketed to outrageous prices so there out now for me . I'm not paying $45 shipping for a figure to New York . No way .

I am glad you got yours!!! Yeah, same happened on mine, when I got the DX07 and the DX12 from them, It was wrapped NICELY with double bubble wrap in an impenetrable box, on the other hand on this case, the Brown carton box was missing and the box itself was messed up bad, like it's dented it in half. I can live with that though. Can complain about it, as long as I get for close to retail I am good.
