My replacement came broken. I'm not surprised. Now I have to figure out which one I should fix and keep.

This one sucks cause the scabbards or whatever they're called came broken in two places on one of them. Way less damage over all on the replacement, still a lot, but my fix might be slightly noticable if I decide to fix this one due to the smooth surface of the scabbard.

My first one came trashed but all in the back of the piece.
I don't know which one to fix.

A lovely looking piece and goes great with its Ringwraith counterpart.

Slight damage in transit - but an easy fix - so no big deal.

Sorry to see that man! I'm glad it's an easy fix, but at $275 a pop the collector shouldn't be responsible for "finishing" a statue or in Fremen's case - deciding which statue is less damaged to fix.

I have a feeling SS is going to not want to ship out more of these then they absolutely have to. I think this guy may end up being pretty rare.

Just what I've been saying as well.

I should be getting mine by the end of next week, so we'll see what happens.

a valid possibility. jeez this is fragile BIG TIME! i think the rare ones will be the ones that are unbroken, exclusive or not. and i can see some collectors selling their exclusive morgul blade.....

Well I ordered two in case one was broke I just un-boxed the second one and still no brakes. Its strange how I've seen about 7 - 8 now in the U.K with no brakes, most of the reports seem to be over Stateside.
I certainly don't need two regs and I wont be ripping anyone off I just near enough what I paid, or swaps

Mine was...kept the base and dagger and new styro box...switched the rest...I just bet this might be one of the rarest edition LOTR statues

Wonder if it is a legit sell out or they are using what inventory in stock for replacements? I PRAY my order comes in POR with no damage, I noticed a pending charge in my bank account for $30, my last flex pay, it is scheduled to be charged on Monday........

Yes it seems so fragile to me as well. Some of their designs (like Balrog whip) are more or less miracle to get to you unharmed

received mine from a retailer. the color collector box (white) and the SS brown shipping box were packed out in a larger box. they were probably trying to make it safer because of previous breakage issues in shipping.

Yes it happened to me as well...they give extra box for extra protection but officialy you have just retail box + brown shipper

I doubt the Regular is actually sold out. They most likely don't want to oversell it at this point and make sure they can cover damages from the initial pre-orders. Sideshow is probably inspecting/re-packing these as they can get to them. Modifying the styrofoam packing and re-boxing 1300 statues has to be cutting into the profits on this one, epecially when you factor in the man-hours involved.

I agree that this one could end up being pretty rare and that there will most likely be far less than 1000 of the Regular edition.

Do you think you're going to try for a 3rd replacement? It sucks but some of us got mint bodies so it could definitely happen. And ask them to send it with your favorite carrier.

I feel so lucky right now
But even though this may turn out rare and gain in value it's going to be such a nightmare to trade of sell later.... I wouldn't even think about it.
