Sorry, this just looks ridiculous.

Up next: George Washington: Alien Killer
That would be awesome..

But it should be:

George Washington: Dragon Slayer

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (assassin)

Thomas Jefferson: Alien Annihilator

Theodore Roosevelt: Werewolf Assassin (hunter)

..I think Theodore Roosevelt hunted a lot in real life, too..

I don't think this looks ridiculous at all. I'm actually really pumped for it.
This could be really, really cool..but I do think it'll turn out to be crap.

Good. We need more goofy ass movies.

And then the new Adam Sandler abortion comes on and it's all

"OLOLOLOL OMG SOOO FUNNY I GOTTA SEE DAT!"

I really like this idea to be honest. Thats one of the things I always thought was great about Hellboy type stuff, how they put his story into a real timeline and that one off movie that the hellboy team did about the cyborg head working as a secret agent for Lincoln. Its kind of cool seeing this stuff weaved in with historical figures and times.

Every now and again it doesn't hurt to just watch a goofy movie. This looks good and alot of fun if you ask me.

I disagree. Even though they're style over substance, I like Night Watch and Day Watch a lot. Wanted...not so much.

:goodpost::exactly: Considering what he did with those on a lower budget, he has a great style. I think his involvement in the Wanted movie was one of the things that made it work even though it was a total abortion from the comic.

Wanted was much better than Day and Night Watch - they bored me silly. Seth Grahame-Smith wrote the novel this is based on as well as Pride & Prejudice & Zombies. Both books are fun reads and this film looks like a lot of fun too. I'm very much look forward to it.

And literary mashups are a cool idea. I wouldn't mind seeing a lot more of them.

I think Teddy Roosevelt should be a werewolf hunter.

He could kill that one from Twilight!
