You can't half tell some people are jaded by this re-release

It's gone from 'waaah! It's not worth as much' to 'nyah nyah! Ours is original!'

It seems, however, that if you're not in that camp, (like me) you don't care if it's the original or not.

I really don't care what people will think of my re-release in the future. I'll have a 1/6 Mark 1 figure! That's all that matters, right?

I agree on all! And I'd bet if you asked every HT collector, they all have at least one figure they wish they could get another shot at buying via re-release.

this fig used 90% of the same molding from v1. so no need to make new molding templates, & less to pay the sculptor. i'd say this lalla is why the v2 is priced as much. and we see it too in the final painted fig. such brilliant improvement in the paint app it renders v1 absolete.

i'm, of course, just mocking ht's way of hyping the fig with lalla. now we see it's all just empty hype.

What it should have been was the car battery magnet thingy connected to Stark before he made the glowing thing on his chest that i can't remember for the life of me what its called! I like the exclusive, though.

Don't see how, your paying $214 for it, not saving money. It's not like you had to buy the original in fact since you didn't already proves your not saving anything.

Unless Lalla is painting all 5-7000 of these I really don't see what's the point of HT making a big deal that he/she painted the proto. Woopy for us since we're still going to getting the factory paint

True, you are 100% technically correct.

I'm still happy that I have been given this opportunity after having missed the first release.

So yeah, I didn't save ____, I spent exactly what needed to be spent for a HT Mark 1, maybe just a tad bit more than the original, for a piece that I always regretted missing yet is a must own for me.

PO'd the exclusive. Have you noticed that SSC is not offering the regular releases lately if an exclusive is available? For Spidey and this Mark I just the exclusive is available for purchase from them. Maybe this is a new business model. SSC just will have exclusives when available and leave the regular release sales to the e-tailers.

Anyway, this is a very fair price for a very nice piece and I can't wait to have it. Hope they fix the midsection armor, but if not I can live with it as is. Great re-release HT's, thanks.
