....so I guess this "Winnie the Pooh Predator" isn't happening? :(

:horse:horse:horse

If only there was a smiley for beating an even more dead-looking horse... seriously, what's the point of coming back here if you're going to make posts like this? If you respond by saying MxBxM is overreacting and you want to prove it by provoking more frustration, then you're trolling. You realize that, right?

I hate to say it, since you're a cool guy and whatnot, but lately I've noticed the same thing as others: you're almost always in an unreasonably petty argument because you over-emphasize your already-known opinion and keep coming back to respond to those who call you out on it.
Regardless of your reasons for persisting, they're most likely illogical, so here's the main point: if that many people are noticing this kind of behavior, it's probably time to stop.

What did i miss? Oh yeah, the troll. Well, I did not call anyone out. The mod asked to avoid another argument like that, so I tried to warn the guy to not turn into the new troll.

But then mrs troll comes and does the same thing it has been doing in this thread, just trolling. Maybe the word troll attracts her?

And what all of you say of her, that's the same problem I have. She always complains of a figure that nobody is forcing it to buy and if someone likes anything about it, she will promptly try to shut you down and make your opinion wrong. Or when someone has an oponion or point of view, he quickly tried to prove you wrong by basing on her own 'facts', which are just her points of view, not facts.

But the way she angers and acts tough behind a computer is really amusing.

But the least I want to do is deviate the thread and welcome all those who are open minded about the figure. But beings like that, they should be banned.

I can't wait for production pics and reviews to start appearing :) . Hopefully there will be OMG pics and so on. Seems like this is due for May/June, so maybe those will start appearing April? 4 months... :gah:

I'd actually love to see OMG's take on the piece. It's a photogenic-looking figure, that's for sure.

Going to be pretty epic that's for sure. Wish it came with a little more weapons, ones that he will be able to use that is.

:exactly: I agree, would love to see some predator/samurai hybrid weapons, like najinata with a predator spin on the design of the staff and the blade. As if he'd forged them himself.

Huh, honestly don't see where any of you guys are getting this from... :dunno

I don't think I've said anything bad about this figure in a very long time..don't recall having any negative posts lately either (without reason of course)...

Honestly I'm not taking sides or getting involved in this at all but you must admit the timing of this being posted where and when it was is sheer comic genius.

And after the U turn I made with this predator all I can say about this, or any other predators yet to be mentioned, is I'll wait for the pictures first :)

Well I don't necessarily agree that you've been hyper-negative about things lately - thats an accusation I've had levelled at me, its just people getting a wrong impression based on a small sampling of your posts. If in one day you go from one thread saying ''this isn't as good as it could have been'' to another thread saying something similar, someone who isn't aware of your entire posting history (and can't be) calls you a negative nancy - and its simply not true. Their selective memory has overlooked the multitude of other posts that week which were highly positive, on this particular day you simply felt like discussing the downer points and its a discussion forum, that should be allowed.

I will say though you haven't been at your best in this thread. You just have to let people like what they like even if you think the release is pointless or that theres something glaringly off in your eyes. Thats a lesson I'm probably still learning posting here. I'm trying to keep to a minimum now how often I tell people that Hot Toys T-800 headsculpts are vertically squashed! People don't like it rammed down their throats at every opportunity, even if they kinda agree - some won't agree at all, they just want to enjoy their figure and so they should.

Having said all this MxBxM and the others could do with not baiting you, and you vica versa. Now, copy and paste this post and quote it back to me next time I get in a fight around here!

"you have made an enemy this day!"

:wink1::lol

Last guy who made that joke was MasterZafara. He's no longer with us today (on this board). There were other reasons too, but he caught a lot of heat for that in particular. Just sayin'. Might wanna remove that part. I'll unquote it afterwards.
I fail to see how anyone could take offense to that..but alright...

Trying to be humble now. Now that is funny.

This is not about a stupid Winnie the Pooh joke. Another person could have written the same thing and I would have been ok. But because it was that particular person, going back to all the negative comments in this thread, all the negative posts in the Classic thread, which I noticed other people already had problems with this member, and of course, the amusing discussion we had a while back, then I am not ok.

But as long as we don't get any more comments like that or somebody starts trolling, then i'm ok.

From the start, this figure is only for those who like it or find something interesting in it. It's not based on any movie any other material out there, just the mind of a sculptor. So any nagging about likeness, accuracy, or anything related is invalid.

So I can understand if someone comes once or twice to post their dislike and express the reason why. But when it is a constant thing, then it is illogical that said person keeps coming to nag about it if they don't like it.

Like I posted before, I never liked the Falconer, Tracker and think the Noland figure is a bad choice for a figure and still think Hanzo deserves a figure more, having killed a Pred with a sword, but I have never postd anything in those threads to avoid annoying people that like them.

So I expect people to be respectful of others, especially if we are all grown-up collectors by choice.
