Maybe im not sure. It does look like theres 2 parts to it cos of the black dots. If someone who has 1 can confirm please do

Finally finished my Storm Shadow mod. Can't get over how much more I like him now, didn't think that was possible from an already badass figure. Meanwhile in 1984...

Still might paint those black straps on his feet. Keep forgetting about them actually. The "claws" under the feet a great touch of detail. This son of ^^^^^ is ready to scail walls!

I suspect you could use shoe laces if you wanted to do an easy mod.

The new shuriken and the dagger he added are pretty sweet too. Is that one of the Ignite tantos?

I think it is all one molded piece. To do that would require breakage and glueage.

I'll be doing that. The arrow rest is a whole different story. I looked into finding him some left grip/right draw hands, so no mods to the bow would be necessary, but haven't been too successful. Thought about the SS Legalos, but I think his hands are a bit feminine for Tom.

Thanks, King! I used two different sized elastic strips that I picked up at walmart.

The new shuriken and the dagger he added are pretty sweet too. Is that one of the Ignite tantos?

Yep, both are from Ignite. I still need to paint the "diamonds" white to match the swords.


Took a few more pics but most came out too dark so I'll be doing some more later on. Here's a couple decent ones with the Commander though. Funny thing, I find myself really wanting to make Billy now. . .

Yeah they put the sight on the wrong side of the bow for the hands he was given. Not really a big deal but I did notice the error as soon as I started posing him with the bow.

I don't want to start anymore controversy, but I just realized last night setting Stormy up, that Sideshow gave him the wrong type of bow draw hand, Japanese archers hold their strings with their thumb in what's called a Mongolian Draw (last image):

So you could easily modify an existing gun gripping right hand to give SS a proper bow draw.

The draw style can be easily debated. Just because he's Japanese doesn't mean he has to use the traditional Japanese style exclusively. He may have been taught to fire a bow that way, but he could have easily picked up other draw styles along the way from Snake Eyes or some random bow hunter from Missouri.

Not really an error. That's more of a preference.
