The head sculpts for the most part have been spot-on. It’s the production paint application that is falling short. I’ve had several Exo-6 head sculpts repainted and they are dead accurate to the character/actor now. Have also corrected the “lazy eye issues” with the Vulcans released so far, that bothered the hell out of me everytime I looked at my Star Trek shelf. Will continue to have headsculpts repainted since I only purchase the characters I really want in my collection; or until Exo-6’s production paint apps reach an acceptable level. Although with each release, it feels like they are stepping backwards instead of progressing forward.

We found McCoy. He was not in our office. No wonder we couldn't find him. Now we can work on improvement. His chest hair is like Wolverine nowneed to lighten up a bit then he's ready for preorder. He is not an Immediate Puchase figure.

Looks like they are correcting to color of the TWOK phaser II according to Nanjin’s latest update, so there another win for the line. Can’t wait to have Saavik in hand……..

Interesting that TMP McCoy will be a pre-order instead of an immediate purchase. Also a good thing though as previously he was talking about doing some kind of a lottery system to get him. Maybe a pre-order for a week or two to make as many as are in demand and then cap it?

Hmm, kinda nervous now. I know the head was maybe a smidge too wide, but I was still really happy with it and I worry it might get tweaked too much...

Well I caved on Saavik at the last minute. She wasn't on my list originally, but that work on the uniform and jacket was too irresistible. Especially the latter when I'm holding off on TOS until the Undiscovered Country line for everyone except Spock.

So now Nanjin is toying with the idea of making season one Kirk a Section 31 exclusive and having the season three version the main version.
Section 31 is his friends only thing that he’s discussed previously. No idea how that would work. Kinda bs in my opinion.

So how does the green wraparound fit into that I wonder? I was never expecting another Kirk in the gold tunic anyway so it's not too much of a loss.

I'm kinda confused.. Did Kirk even where the green wrap in s3? When we are talking 2 versions of Kirk, maybe the S31 version is the season 1 wrap with the rank braiding on the shoulders and the standard is the season 2 wrap with the black collar?
I dunno, I'm just guessing. I've never seen his FB posts. I pretty much haven't been on FB in years.

He hasn’t even explained how the whole Section 31 thing would even work. He’s talked about it a few times but to my knowledge he hasn’t actually done anything with it yet.
I’m glad I have my QMX Kirk, Spock, and McCoy, but for those that missed those I guess it’s just tough luck or try eBay?
The Green wrap uniform better not be just for that Section 31 group. That would really be a huge disappointment for me.
Yeah I don't get it. With an improved and more detailed sculpt I'm sure he would have no trouble selling any TOS Kirk he decided to make.
