I would definitely like to have real boots for this figure. They are so prevalent, not sure why they didn't do that.
I bought these on eBay for $30. Their shape is right, the eyelets, the tongues, the heels, and the flat rubber soles. An excellent match to the film. I just need to replace the laces with some thicker hemp twine, wrap it around near the top, and do some weathering.

They look accurate. Good idea. The body is going to be huge. The only thing I am worried about is the size of those boots and if they will be small.

I might definitely get this to pair with DT Max but I'll probably switch the body to a Tbleague M34 or M35.

I'm working on restoring the original photo inside his gun case to replace the inaccurate photo accessory item.
The final version that I will eventually post here will have all obstructing objects and shadows removed,
and I'll try to restore natural lighting to make it as accurate as possible for printing.
According to my best estimate, the printed photo should be about 3/4 inch tall.

This should make it easy.
Just print one copy on thick card stock, and cut out the dark brown background from that.
Then print another copy on thinner card stock, and cut out the tan matte from that.
Then print a third copy on regular paper, and cut out the photograph from that.
Paste them all together, and voila.

Premier Toys easily could have taken the time to do what I just did...
But, they probably went on Google and grabbed the first WW1 era wedding photo they saw.

If you open my image in Photoshop and zoom-out until the photo is about 3/4 inch tall,
you'll get a good idea of what it will look like at 1:6th scale.

We won't know what the exact size of the matted photo should be until we have the gun case in hand.
Only then can we measure the inside of the lid and scale our prints accordingly.
Oh- one more thing: I don't know if this forum re-sizes or degrades the quality of the image I posted,
so if you want it in full resolution, just email me: [email protected].

I hope the release isn't delayed like the Marauder was, but it probably will be... October, if we're lucky?

I will wait too when its released. Thanks for sharing.Hope the release its not delayed, the covid and Production delays excuse is not valid this days

This is pretty cool, even with the joints. at first I thought he was to brawny but after a minute I think its pretty close. I can only recall 1 part in the film where he is standing next to people but its hard to remember how he scaled in that shot (when Max makes a run for it at night).

I received the boots today. The size looks fine, even for a larger body.
They measure 52.5mm long, 20mm wide, by 40.7mm tall.
The quality is even better than in the photos. They are sewn and put together extremely well.
I was reluctant to spend $30 on them, but I'm really glad I did.
I started bending the toe upward to create wrinkles, and the material is holding the wrinkles nicely.

After a lot of measuring and re-measuring, and several experimental (wrong) versions, I think I've finally got accurate shapes of the under-padding and rigid armor for Wez. Now I begin to add surface details; rivets, stitched fabric edging, and strap anchors.

The stitched edging was the hardest to figure out, in terms of knowing exactly what I was seeing in the film at 1:1 scale; I'm convinced it is thus: The rigid plastic armor plates have tiny holes punched along the edges (at about 1/4 inch intervals) to accommodate heavy thread stitching which holds thin strips of fabric in place, (possibly leather) to cover the semi-sharp plastic edges with a U-shaped wrap-around safety layer.

I'm not going to attempt actual stitching holes through my plastic at 1/6 scale, but I can simulate the look. I ordered some 1.6mm wide fabric ribbon; I can do hand-stitching along the center line of the loose ribbon, then glue it on along the edges of the armor plates.

OSK just sent me the pending balance.....................

Will ship next monday

any pics of the figure??

Saw your post before I saw my email. Wasn't expecting him to release yet.

I recently listed my pre-orders by their expected release date. Humungous was Q1 2024, but their as yet unreleased Guitar Warrior was Q4 2023.

Can't find any photos yet.
