I doubt Disney would/will cancel this, regardless of views/reviews/ratings. It's only 2 seasons long and is said to lead into Rogue One. They already committed to telling this story to conclusion. If anything they'd maybe cut down the budget perhaps to save some money.

At this point Disney can't afford to anger the fans it does have. I'd imagine they'd piss off a lot of people and lose even more Star Wars fans than they already have if they don't finish this.

My concern is, even if they let this all play out and they make season 2, if viewing figures are low, they won't make anymore Star Wars like this again.
They'll just churn out endless garbage like BoBF or Kenobi because those shows were more successful than Andor.

Nah... just like RO had a huge effect on all things Star Wars -- Solo, Mando, BOBF, OWK, Andor -- this show will continue to shape the LOOK of Star Wars in the RO style.

Not sure if you guys have seen the chart, but the ratings are astronomically low (the lowly purple line at the bottom) - barely even a heartbeat. So I don't think there would be too many angry people.

It's grim...

Those particular numbers don't show ratings, they track on-line talk/banter.
That's more a sign this show isn't full of easy fan service references, nods and expecttions, for people to twitt and gush about, etc. Also not generating the outrage and debates.
Not necessarily that they are not watching it, just they are taking it in more quietly.
What this tells us is that there’s less online talk of Andor when compared to the average series streaming today than there was for the rest of the Star Warsseries
... Nielsen’s top 10 from the week Andor had its season premiere on Disney Plus is expected to come out later this week, so we’ll have a more complete picture of how well it’s doing in terms of actual viewership.
Microcosm Eg,. The Bobo Fett thread here is a 460 page goldmine of online mockery, that doesn't mean it's a better received show.

* I'm not arguing it has more or less viewership either way, just indicating what those^ numbers are.
That said if it's lower, it wouldn't surprise me, allot of attention spans seem to struggle here.

That chart doesn't even make any sense. Andor 1st aired it's initial 3 episodes on September 21st. Today is October 20th. It has been on D+ for only 30 days. How can it show a slight increase around day 40? :dunno
