Yeah, I'm more than happy with the Sandman base that came with the SM3 Black costume Spidey.

Yeah. I'll stick with my old SM3 base as well. Those swap out pieces are just his forearms - on a figure with short sleeves! That's going to look pretty bad...

Very excited for Tobey Spidey to go up for preorder definitely feel I can now have figures from the rami films by Hot toys with Doc Ock and Goblin. Of course I'll definitely be getting Andrew and his Villains for his films. Still holding off on Tom's spidey until we get his final/classic suit.

So that horrible neck seam is there to stop the suit from bunching up like on the ps4 game figures. Looks terrible from behind but its still really noticeable from the front. I hope they work out a way to make it more seamless in the final version.

Exactly how I feel. I want the three Spidey's but just can't get into those Stark tech suits. Hopefully we don't have to wait for Tom's next movie to get that classic suit figure.

Preorders on regular releases (not exclusives) don't sell out. The number of preorders influences the amount of figures made apparently. It's happened where a figure had presumably low pre-order numbers, like that odd iron man figure a few years ago (47?) and then people freaked out needlessly at the inflated market prices, hot toys just cranked out more later on.

Hot Toys is using the Raimi mask which has the correct and better looking mask, which is good. They just strangely combined that with the black lens from NWH.

They should have made the arms and neck fully sand, or just make the face human. However, i can make the neck and arms fully sand myself with some glue and sand.

I always assumed that the lenses throughout those movies were black but just had a silvery or grayish shine to them. Never thought they were straight silver.

I saw a "order soon" from ToysWonderland which makes me wonder if we're not getting a head sculpt for this one and that perhaps Toby was the blocker all along. That would be a darned shame...

That would then make HT’s decision to release Garfield under ASM instead of NWH completely inexplicable unless no one but Holland is sanctioning use of their likeness for the movie.

I feel like the current conclusion that Garfield is the problematic case makes the most sense and HT found a loophole to give us a sculpt- even if it’s very old and doesn’t really suit the personality of the character in NWH.

I'm planning for the future and was trying to decide between this and the new Tobey Maguire (obviously I'd have a better idea when it goes up for pre-order with all the pics/accessories listed but I just thought I'd get people's opinions earlier on as well)
