Mine's arrived, and I think it looks really good!

Took a month to get here but finally came in yesterday. I had to get insanely crafty to get this Daftoys head to fit and it still messed with the collar and tie of the button up shirt. (Neck was a bit too thick).

Besides that, which is nothing to do with TOPO, absolutely incredible set of clothes. Got them put on the figure without much fuss. Still struggling a little with having the socks fold up near the ankle but it's not majorly noticeable.

Here's a comparison of the Daftoys Bank robber head sculpt and the JXToys one.

Makes me genuinely happy to have this figure for 1/4 the cost of the original Hot Toys figure.

I ended up cutting the socks in half, solving the issue of the bunching up. Also gives you an extra pair of socks for a second figure. Win-win.

Ha, great idea. I might do that. They're driving me crazy more so than the pants being too short. I feel like the shortness of the pants kind of lends to that clown feel at least.

Got some time to touch him up a bit and fix his pose to be a little more dynamic. Originally I had planned to put him on a bookshelf but with his presence I had to put him in a Detolf.

I addressed the pant length by not using the included black ankle connectors. Instead, using the standard ankle pegs and a little heat to fit them into the shoes. This makes the pant legs end right at the shoes instead of too far above them.

Thanks for the update, I have the Dafttoys set here as well and wanted to use the unmasked head for my Topo set. Shame the neck is too wide. I stick with the JXToys one then.

Also kind of stupid that the inner ring is missing in neck of the Daftoys head. Had to order those separate and will probably glue the neck adapter in.

My "getting crafty" is exactly what you were suggesting. I glued an inner ring on the inside of the Daftoys head and then sanded it down until it fit around the adapter that came with the TOPO body. The neck isn't bad by any means, if you can swing it I definitely think it's a much better head sculpt than JXToys. It's just slightly larger by a few millimeters so it makes getting the collar + tie around it a little tricky.

Edit: You can see in my second pictures if you adjust it a bit then it'll go around just fine, just not a snug as a thinner neck would be

I will give it a shot when the rest arrives, maybe I will end up glueing in the whole neck adapter. The JXtoys head was also a tight fit with the Topo neck adapter, but the hairdryer took care of it.

Looking good! The fix for the pants is to heat up the shoes and force the legs directly into the smaller holes with the ankle pegs. Bypassing the black ankle piece.

I didn't want to make that change myself, so I've kind of grown to be okay with the higher pants. It's a more high water clown look to me, even if it's not accurate.

I’ve still got a lot of stuff to do to this set, but; after unboxing and dressing the body in a rush and the minimal of water treatments; the coat is better than Yunsil. I say this having owned the Yunsil (amongst much of her other work) also.

Looking great! Question, does the material in hand give off the “bathrobe” effect like on the DX11?

The JX sculpt is actually better than the older HT sculpts. Arguably better than DX11. This sculpt is actually under $40 shipped on eBay, which makes it the best for the price imo. They did a good job scaling down the 1/4 HT sculpt.
I have to completely disagree. It’s not even on the same level as the DX11.

Finally found the time to fix up my TOPO Joker, what a great set. The velcro at the fly can be a bit tricky with the shirt tucked in, but man is the overall quality and look great. I went with the JXToys sculpt and for $40 Dollars I am really impressed by it.

I kept the trousers with the black ankles since these things help the socks fit better and I could not bring myself to forcing that big ankle peg of the TOPO body into the small hole inside the shoe. Overall the trousers don't bother me much, I kinda like the look and think it fits the character.

actaully yes. I always thought I would be ‘the Batman’ only prior to seeing it, but firmly made my mind up now. ☺️👍🏻
I understand. I was actually planning on setting up a TDK shelf myself, but after watching The Batman as well, I decided to hold off. Luckily I only bought a Joker display stand and nothing else yet :lol

Even after The Batman, and I love the movie, the Nolan movie characters stay iconic in my opinion. Getting the Hot Toys TDK/TDKR version and have the MToys Bane on preorder aswell, the big three so to say. 😅

But I will also get at least „The Batman“, planning on posing both Batmans together.
