So Luke’s a cold hearted bastard that dumps Grogu effectively into an Uber without so much as a goodbye and Boba is as useless as ever. Disney are certainly consistent with crapping on OT characters. Honestly can’t even muster the energy to be angry. I just don’t care anymore.

There was so much that was baffling about that. How did Luke know where Mando would be? Did he just tell Artoo to dump him off at any random docking bay? The mechanic lady clearly wasn't notified in advance. How the hell was Grogu supposed to find Mando? I know they like to make Tatooine seem as small as a city block, but come on!

I hope Artoo was pulled over by one of the galaxy's three space cops while flying an X-Wing with a toddler all alone in the cockpit. :lol

I just can't believe what I saw for that hour or so. Holy crap! :rotfl

The same way that Mando knew where Luke was, plot convenience.

Why in the bantha fodder does Cobb Vanth need a cybernetic upgrade when he’s in the Bacta Tank??

How did he get to the Bacta tank??

Freetown didn’t bring him with them, if he was that hurt I doubt he’d have survived the gap between last episode, Freetown riding to Mos Espa, the entire battle, Freetown riding back to their home then coming all the way back to Jabbas Palace :dunno:slap
Did I miss a scene? Did they show Cobb Vanth in the Bacta Tank? I'm confused.

I think they must've written some of these episodes by gathering kids together and filling out Mad Libs.

George Lucas should demand that they remove his name from the credits. :slap

Used an X-wing to dump Grogu.

So the challenge is for someone to turn this series into a movie fan edit that does not suck. I know we have more chance of successfully navigating an asteroid field but I think there are enough parts to make a two hour movie.

Ok I've been thinking about.

(1) episode 5 and parts of 6 together (not the Cobb Vanth stuff) and this is a bumper episode mando season 2.5 bridging episode and ends with Fennec asking for Mando's help.

(2) then Boba movie (2 hours max).
  • Start with Cobb Vanth refusing entry to the pike syndicate but then have the immediate repercussion of Cad Bane arriving to take him out (no mando scene going for the team up ... then we know it's all about spice running).
  • Then do a five years earlier and have some of the flash back parts from episode 1 and 2 but tell it chronologically and just give the idea that Boba was with the Tusken's for a long time (full five years... even tell us time has passed).
  • Show boba going to the pike gang - the audience knows they are bad guys. The tuskens are killed and Boba is on a path of revenge and misdirected by the Pikes.
  • Then follow that with Cad Bane scene and the pikes revealing that they killed the tuskens.
  • Then have Boba rescuing Fennec and attacking the palace and taking back slave one and killing the nicto gang (no sarlaac). He get's his armour back and takes the throne with the belief he can make tatooine safer to protect the weaker or something.
  • Then use some of the current stuff just to set up the modern conflict (possibly one scene with the mayor) with Boba being a problem to the pikes that they unwittingly created themselves. Remove the huts entirely.
  • Boba tries to unite the bosses scene.
  • Boba walks the streets and people warm to him but then the cantina is bombed out in retaliation
  • Boba returns and Cad Bane drops the truth bomb that they killed his tribe and they will come back to wipe out the town.
  • Then you can go into that final fight edited down heavily with Mando arriving and then later Grogu.
  • Boba kills Bane and Fennec assassinates the Pike leaders.

Remove episodes 1-4 and 7 then it’s done, not that hard :lol

I love that they talked up this big “twist” too, and that we’d have to go back and watch the whole series again and see it in a new light 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

It's just strange and annoying how much the first two seasons of The Mandalorian felt almost like an extension of the OT and this abomination completely lacks that feeling.
