KP often develops their own bodies, as they did when they released their Rocky figures for example:
Let's just hope that they bodies aren't the same as those ones, I have both of the KP unlicensed Rocky figures and the bodies are awful.

I don't have those figures, but I think the bodies weren't exactly cheap. A shame.

YASSSSSS. Surprisingly accurate too. Even though it was based on the cartoon, the figure had a good likeness to Sly, and even the upper body proportions were similar to Sly's and it even had the scars on his chest and right arm, which is an injury from the FIRST film.
The weapons too!! The knife was very accurate, and so were the bazooka and M60, but the two small knives that hide on the back of his belt were such a great little scene specific detail that it still surprises me that Coleco included it.
The whole line, including the vehicles were one of the best from the 80's.
Someone should bring it back.

If someone gives you a free figure, are you going to bash it or be more generous in praise?
This will be the 4th time they have used his channel to promote their product.
I dont think hes ever had a bad word to say about their figures.
Their previous releases were not perfect but again why bite the hand that feeds, totally understandable.
If they send him a hand painted version then he will be as much to blame for misleading people if the final product is poor.
Ignorance is not an excuse.
Dont even see the point in sending him a prototype figure.
Thats like showing a custom michael myers that costs a grand and saying the version you are buying for 200 will look the same. ( apperance may vary to prototype)disclaimer very apt.
I think for the most part he is honest but others intentions may not be.
