Well yeah, Birkin stayed behind so that Chris could have a character arc even though he's not in 90% of the movie and has no build up of many character building scenes.

thx... i let u guess the only B.O.W with one hand in RE6
(the Re-joint already finished so he able to fully move from shoulders,elbows,chest,crotch and knees .. its custom from the almost statue on HT KO Hulk... still got alot to sculpt though and make the pants, belts not to mention several different weapon on right hand ) ..... Next to claire is not from the games but from the CGI one.. the emblem logo is S.R.T (already finished only need the right sculpt and the right machinegun)....

Of Course not.... its a KnockOff HT one... its 42cm way shorter than HT... i got it very cheap back then about $17 nowadays its triple the price 'cos everyone usually make a custom from it...

Haven't posted in a while, Some love for the new 1/12 RE2 figures. LimToys Leon is a must recommend while the new MTTOYS Ada is a hot mess. Head sculpt is decent, but everything else is debatable. Definitely not worth the $90 price point.
- Recommended body is the T01B, which is way too muscular for Ada. Instead I used and must recommend the T03B. It has less muscle mass, slimmer legs and a longer neck, more accurate to Ada's build.
- Dress is fragile and will rip, tear and fray upon application.
- Black Bow is very loose and will separate from the Bra easily. It's best to just intentionally remove the bow and the loose threads holding it and super glue the bow directly onto the bra.
- Good amount of accessories are included. If it came with a coat, scarf, and an alternate head sculpt with sunglasses on it could've been amazing.
- It can barely stand on its own with the heels on. Also, the stockings will stain the legs so it's best to have a body set aside for Ada that you aren't planning on reusing.

I made the same mistake, also decided to go with the T03B. The T01 made her look like she was on steroids. Though it would suit a 1/12 Jill...if someone were to make a 1/12 version of her (Limtoys are you reading this?? lol).
I thought MT did a decent job with Ada. I do agree on her being a little expensive for what you get. Especially if you compare her with what Lim's Leon gave us. I'm still amazed at the detail that was put into Leon. Definitely gave me more interest in collecting 1/12 scale figures.
Anyone know a specific place I could buy cheap 1/6 scale guns ($10 max)? Want to get my UB Claire a MAC-11 in the future (whenever that fig comes out), but guns and other accessories are often overpriced online. Cheapest I found was $20 (including S&H).

I just want to say @Project_A that all those years I said that they should make a more faithful adaptation with no Alice and try to stick to the games kicked me in the ass. That new movie made the Anderson films look like masterpiece’s
WtRC is by the same studio, with the same producers as the previous movies, yet we somehow expected different results? What WtRC needed was new talent all around.
Next time Hollywood wants to make a RE movie, give the production a high enough budget to even hire a hairdresser. What was up with everyone's hair looking so messy? Doesn't matter if it's the zombie apocalypse, presentation in a movie is everything. Most of the time, it looked like the actors did their own wardrobe. Albert is the King of Fresh in the games, but Tom Hopper looked like a bum, especially in that dinner scene.
My dude just rose from the dead, with blood smeared all over and a giant hole on his vest, and is somehow STILL looking dapper than Tom Hopper did for the entirety of WtRC.
This outfit triggers the fashionista in me. It disgusts me. The RE2R burger personified.

I wouldn’t blame the budget but the script/writing was awful! I know people who loved the movie because of the Easter eggs/references but references/Easter eggs do not make up for a terrible script and badly put together mashup of 1&2. I’m not being biased because I like the Alice ones even though they have problems, a lot but WtRC was just plain awful! Almost a parody.
The references were either cringe or out of place. Why is Sherry having nightmares about Hunters? She never encounters them; they don't show up in either RE2, its remake or RE6. It's "Jill Sandwich", not "Sammich"
. Jill at that point hasn't been to the mansion yet, nor is Barry around to make that joke. The lady screaming "Itchy Tasty" was ultra MEGA cringe. Again, that occurs in the mansion and it's written in a diary where an infected is slowly displaying loss of intelligence and morality. People who haven't played the games would only be confused and mistake it for some dumb joke.

I had this same thought after watching it. Capcom is on odd beast.
This movie made no sense. Why go through the effort of recreating the Spencer Mansion, and RPD, and naming the characters exactly as is (even including Ben from RE2 ... that's a really out there sub-plot) then just doing "whatever you want" with the story? Then just mashing the stories of RE and RE2 together in one movie. I mean, I guess you can, but why would you? There's plenty of story in either game as a standalone.
Oh, and the stinger with Ada, I thought that was the dumbest thing in the movie.

Like, no f'n poo. That dialogue was horrendous, clunky, and just ... you could tell no one edited the script, as that line should've been cut. And what the hell is even with that in the first place, since when did Wesker work for Ada? She works for him, or at least for the same shadowy group? Didn't the side story from RE4 have her grab the vials for him?
In any case, I think the earlier theory is pretty on the money, these movies are just made for tax-write-off/money laundering purposes.

eBay from China, if not AliExpress. 4D do self assembly plastic guns and I've often found them for like £10 for the set. Might take a month to arrive but it's your best bet if you're having to save money.
In my experience the more local of dealers try to cash in: there's some plonker on eBay UK trying to sell nasty guns from cheap action figures and the ones from those Crazy Toys RE5 figures for like 24.99 a pop. How he sleeps is beyond me... they're not worth the dirt on my shoe!
Of course it all depends on what it is you're looking for; some stuff people have coming out of their ears and you can get it for pence, but other things are hen's teeth. I'm always on the look out for a cheap M1897 - IE the Shotgun from REmake - but haven't been able to track one down. Revolvers also go for really silly money. Admittedly I don't know if I've ever even seen a Mac-11, and I'm willing to bet it's one of those guns that folk will sell under the guise of ''RARE''.
It's to the point now where I'm likely going to invest in a 3D printer and printing such guns using their actual in-game models. I'd still be saving money!
