What do you think, is it a good enough figure to buy two? I'm holding out until I get him in from Sideshow to decide.
Yes. I ordered two. This one came from TW, the other is on queue at SS. I’m also a big Lando fan and want the ability to customize one into a General Lando, Smuggler Lando, or maybe even something totally original from the post ROTJ era. Yes, there are nits. But they don’t distract me from the look of him on the shelf and like I said before, I’m happy with him.
Also, as an aside, I think if he came with more accessories (though admittedly I don’t know what that would be at this point), people would be less critical. Maybe a set of binders or the Bespin guard pistol?

Yeah I don't really know what else they could have included(besides Lobot lol). HT just should have executed a couple things better like the pants and the cape. He will definitely look good with the rest of the OT characters, that blue outfit will really add a nice splash of color that isn't currently there.

I ordered 2 also, in hoping for a bespin escape leia and chewie with C3po release sometime before I’m 91 years old. That way I could do the scene without the cape.

SS email as well.
I am tempted by the GeeWhiz ROTJ General outfit but $400 is too steep for me. For $400 (or even $200) I could do a lot, and certainly something equally awesome.

Has anyone removed the padding yet?

I'm considering it because it makes him look a bit boxy and square shouldered.

Sometimes with bodies you can pull the arms down to drop the shoulders, but I couldn't get any downward movement. Joints may be stiff though.

I'd like to have him more like this:

The cape itself should square off the shoulders, without being exaggerated by the padding.

Also thinking of going for this pose, as it allows for the cape to be closer around the neck, while still making use of the blaster:

My TBA Lando should hit home as well on tuesday. First figure to actually ship from HK out of a set of 7. It's not even my oldest parcel. My TW Armorer has been handed to carrier since 10/14 and i haven't got any news since.

Thinking of using magnets to hold the collar down. Don't believe double sided tape will do the trick but will try that first.

It actually worked really well.

I put a strip at each end, folded the collar down and it's as good as glue at the moment.

Interested to see how long that tape lasts. Magnets would be OK, but glue applied to pleather never seems to work out well long term. Unless the magnets can be put inside the collar which could be possible by cutting one or two stitches on the inner side of the collar perhaps.

Will need to check when he arrives.

Or perhaps someone could check now if that could be theoretically possible. I have some low power magnets which are only about 5mm in diamater. They would be enough I'd say, and easy to slip 2x2 into the collar I'm guessing.
